I could hardly breathe
Beautifully narrated by Brittany Pressley, The Overnight Guest by Heather Gudenkauf is a suspense fiction that builds steadily to a crescendo in which the past and present collide in a most explosive climax. During the last two hours of the audiobook, as the stories begin to connect and the truth finally reveals itself, I could hardly breathe. And the ending is a lovely thing -- forming a perfect circle with the beginning. I totally enjoyed this audiobook and have rated it 5 out of 5 stars.

Slow to start, gets better!

Captivating Thriller
I’ve never finished an audiobook so quickly! The reader is left needing to know the outcomes of cliffhangers at a rapid pace. The narrator did an amazing job of bringing each character’s distinct personality alive. This was my first Gudenkauf novel. Already searching up which one to read next. Highly recommend!
