Publisher's Summary

My name is Vinna and I am a Sentinel.

I'm the last in a line of a hunted, magical race, coveted and killed for our power and abilities. I was hidden and protected, but now that I've been found, it's a race to see who can command and control me.

Joke's on them, I bow to no one.

I need to master my magic, and protect the five guys I've marked as my own at all costs. Because the line between friend and foe is dangerously blurry, and I'm collecting enemies like Sentinels collect runes.

It's time to prepare for battle, claim my place, and get ready to fuck up anything or anyone that comes for me and my Chosen.

Contains mature themes.

I really enjoyed it

I find the banter in this book hilarious. It makes me laugh often, and I find the plot to sex ratio pretty good.

Definitely a must read series!

This review will be repeated on all four books.

I am sad to say that I downloaded the first of this series a year or so ago and listened to an hour and I didn’t like it. I thought the main character was full of herself and too judgemental, I didn’t like the narrator’s voice, I thought everything negative, so i stopped listening, deleted it from my device but not from my library, why, I have no idea. Forgetting all of the above, I found this book in my library and redownloaded it this week. I continued from the point I left off and soon got caught up in the book, realizing I was so very wrong about my previous assessment. I listen to all three free books and then used a credit for the fourth and I am pleased that I did.

this is a fantastic series! I’m not familiar with the author, I haven’t read any of her other stuff, I’m not even sure if I’m going to read any of her other stuff but this particular series was kick a**. I love a strong female lead and I hate it when authors throw out words like bad a**, cunning or strong in the description of the main female lead but those descriptions turn to ash right away with the character constantly crying or getting hurt and not being able to do anything on her own and relying ...no needing the strong males to fight for her and save and coddle her, and no strength of her own is shown. Their chosen or their mates or their guardians are left to do most of the work to take care of them except at the end. this book was not one of those books. hands-down the complete series was the complete opposite. when she says she’s bada** she means bada**. she has muscles, she’s defined, she sexy, she trains hard, some of the situations were frustrating to listen to but showed her she immaturity in age and how she was raised but we see her growth throughout.

One of the things that I truly loved about this series, aside from the fact that the author stayed true to the character throughout, or that they were other strong females throughout, or the intrique and action stayed the entire series, or that each book seemlessly continued from the previous as if you just turned the page even though each book had a satisfactory conclusion; it wasn’t any of that, it was that the series was complicated but complete. It was the fact that by the end of the series there were no unanswered questions. So many books do this huge quick wrapup at the end and you are left thinking, that’s it? What about...or what happened to...not in this series. The fourth book in this series tied everything up all while starting the characters on a new path, true to their strengths and original goals. two thumbs up to the author for the series, I will keep the books in my library because I almost guarantee that I will re-read them at some point.

For those who are not aware, this is a reverse harem book but in this book the females and the female lead are strong and determined throughout the entire series.

This is not an epic romance type of book. They fall in love but it’s not the swoony type of romance. in this book they fall in love but they stay still stay true to their characters there’s a strong bond but it doesn’t diminish any of their characteristics. This is a bad a**book with bada** characters fighting bada** battles.

Thumbs up to the narrator Mia Madison, a great job throughout.

No where as good as the first book

Beginning was okay but as it went on I found myself loosing interest and too much sex scenes for me and not enough plot.
