Publisher's Summary
Not only is this a rare glimpse into the world of a master therapist; it is also an account of the 'inner void' that seems to lie at the core of addiction.
Jung: "A case where there was an intelligent, young woman, she was a student of philosophy [with a] very good mind, where one would expect easily that she would see that I am not the parental authority. But she was utterly unable to get out of this delusion. And, in such a case, one always has recourse to dreams: it was just as if one would ask the unconscious 'Now what do you say to such a condition?' You see, she says in her conscious 'of course I know you are not my father, but I just feel like that, it is like that: I depend on you...'"

Little substance.
A lot of people are complaining about the recording quality, but it was obviously excusable - it's not exactly new! But the substance was where I found some disappointment. It's not very meaty and merely serves as a sort of highlight reel from various interviews. Having not read much Jung, I'm going out on a limb and only assuming that it serves as a fair introduction to his psychology. I don't believe it's worth the audiobook, though. I've seen most of these clips on YouTube.

Can’t hear well in car
The recording is old and obviously has lesser quality. Can’t hear while driving, so I haven’t really been able to tell whether it’s a good “book” or not. As I do my audiobook hearing in the car...
