Story
In an era in which many Christians consider Jesus a beloved but remote savior, Willard argues compellingly for the relevance of God to every aspect of our existence. Masterfully capturing the central insights of Christ's teachings in a fresh way for today's seekers, he helps us to explore a revolutionary way to experience God by knowing him as an essential part of the here and now, rather than only as part of the hereafter.

Story
We are at war. Not with a foreign government or domestic terrorists or a creepy new artificial intelligence hell-bent on taking over the world. No, it’s a war we feel deep inside our own chests: we are at war with lies. The problem isn’t so much that we tell lies but that we live them. We let them into our bodies, and they sabotage our peace.

Story
God Has a Name is a simple yet profound guide to understanding God in a new light - focusing on what God says about himself. This one shift has the potential to radically alter how you relate to God, not as a doctrine, but as a relational being who responds to you in an elastic, back-and-forth way. In God Has a Name, John Mark Comer takes you line by line through Exodus 34:6-8 - Yahweh's self-revelation on Mount Sinai, one of the most quoted passages in the Bible.

Excellent information
the audible version did not compliment this wonderful book. The performance and voice was great! there was so much content, so many words it was difficult to keep up with note taking and thought process. if I was more intellectual, perhaps it would be easier?
am thankful for the thoughts and truth which I was able to contemplate.

Truth revealing, heart s heart searching
In great details and discerning wisdom to reveal the truth about God’s speaking to His people, and how to identify God’s will with a heart searching self-examine manner. It takes spiritual maturity and one’s honesty to understand and practice what Dallas teaches about hearing God.
