Publisher's Summary

He saved me from a vengeful wolf but became a monster to do it. And now I’ve lost him. My Viking. My Alek.

Locked away in Novasgard, he’s beyond reach. I have no way to find him. No way to tell him about my secret. About the two words that changed everything. To make matters worse, Noah and Caleb want nothing to do with me now that they know. Two little words, and I’m on the verge of losing them.

My confessor. My berserker. My prince. My alpha…the only one remaining by my side.

A couple months ago, my biggest worry was finding my wolf. Now, we’re dealing with demons, and fending off attacks from the fae. For every enemy we defeat, more lurk in the shadows. The one thing they all have in common? They’re after me. We’re not safe anywhere, and there’s something dark and powerful inside me—something only Alek can help me control. I have to get him back to fix what’s broken between all of us. Because if I’ve learned anything since coming to Ravenscroft, it’s that I’m not going to survive this without my mates. All four of them.

Warning: This series is not for the faint of heart. It contains an obsessive stalker, a foul-mouthed, inked and pierced werewolf, a naughty professor with a fondness for watching, a god of mischief, and plenty of heat. If you don’t like your books spicy, your men broody, built, and more bad than good, this is not the series for you. But if you do, listen on, and welcome to The Mate Games.

The performances are perfection

Absolutely beautifully performed and spectacularly cast. I can’t rave enough about the voice work on this. It really brings the story to life. The multiple voices are extremely well integrated- impeccably done.

All audiobooks should be this good.

During the fight at the end of the second book, Alek turned berserker and was taken to his homeland by his father. Sunday is left with only three of her mates, and not for long as Caleb decides once again to keep his distance from her, and Noah freaks out when he finds out that Sunday is pregnant, because if the baby is half-vampire and half-shifter, it will mean the death of Sunday and the baby. Not letting any of this stop her, Sunday embarks on a seemingly impossible mission to find a way to enter Novasgard to go get Alek and bring him back to her side, while keeping on having to fight and evade the faes and demons who are hunting her and trying to capture and/or kill her.

Thankfully, Sunday is a strong and resilient woman, because she will need this mental strength to survive the temporary loss of her mates. She is not ready to just let them go though, and she will fight tooth and nail to get the happy ending they all deserve.

This book focuses more on Alek, his past, the reason he was at Ravenscroft, and also his relationship with his family. I admit that Tor annoyed me at first, I thought he was nothing more than the typical jealous twin out to get revenge on his brother, but I like how despite their insults and mean teasing, Tor and Alek have each others’ back, and they will stop at nothing to protect each other from a real threat.

The plot was more developed in this this book, but there is still a lot of hot smut, and it remains a highly entertaining, quick-read series that any RH and paranormal lover should enjoy.

Great story and characters! Very hot! 🥵🔥🤩

This book is the third in the Mate Games Series. I really enjoy all the characters, they have just enough depth, humour, wit and sass. The heroine has great répartie and her relationship with each of her mates is unique and filled with sexy and funny banter. The narrators are perfection. Totally worth your credit!! 🤩

Thrilling Cliffhanger and Intensifying Relationshi

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
📚E-BOOK📚&🎧AUDIO🎧

As the third installment of the Mate Games series, this book continues to draw me deeper into its gripping narrative. Meg Anne and K. Loraine have crafted a slow-burning yet intensely captivating story that leaves readers both satisfied and desperate for more. The story primarily revolves around Sunday’s tumultuous relationship with Alek, who has disappeared at the end of the previous book, adding layers of suspense and frustration.

Sunday’s journey to find Alek and the revelation of her secret, which has only been shared with Kingston until now, shakes the dynamics among her vampire lovers. This change forces Noah and Caleb to distance themselves, while Kingston and Sunday grow closer, making for some truly electric scenes. The alone time between Kingston and Sunday is well-utilized and adds depth to their relationship.

The audiobook version, with its stellar full-cast performances, significantly enhances the experience. Aaron Shedlock, Shane East, J.F. Harding, James Joseph, Jason Clarke, and Stella Hunter bring the characters to life in a way that keeps the listener engaged, even when the plot feels agonizingly slow to unravel. Without their performances, the sluggish pace might have made it difficult to maintain interest.

This book ends on an unexpected cliffhanger, leaving readers on the edge of their seats, anxious for the conclusion of the series. The anticipation around Sunday’s baby and the opening of the sixth seal adds to the suspense. Questions about Father Gallagher’s mission and whether he will protect his mate and child, or if he will be forgiven for his betrayal, remain unanswered, intensifying the reader's eagerness for the next book.

Despite the extensive list of trigger warnings, I found the content less intense than anticipated, perhaps due to my familiarity with darker stories. This series, though filled with dark elements, leans towards a lighter dark fantasy.

Overall, this book is a tantalizing mix of frustration and excitement, with a slow plot progression that pays off with rich character development and unexpected twists. Thank goodness the next book is the final one—I’m not sure I can handle another cliffhanger!

Amazing! Highly recommend this series!

This series has been so fantastic to enjoy! Such great narration, I can't even express how wonderful they are! The characters and storyline just pull you in and don't let you go. The love scenes are VERY sexy, just so you know, but I love how hot they are and how wild this world is. The authors have outdone themselves.

Can’t wait for the end

This one was just too much for me, found myself skipping the sex scenes 🫠. At this point I’m invested and just want to know the ending of the story. I was tired of the ridiculous amount of sex and lack of story in this one and sunny annoyed me. I’m hopping as I start the next one it’s better but if not at least the series will be done.
