Morgan's life is not easy. Growing up on the streets of City Four, he is constantly shunned by the other citizens. Morgan doesn't mind being ignored. What he does mind, though, are the constant beatings from the city guards due to his friendship with Sarah, the city lord's only daughter. Lord Simon wants him dead, but the laws of the kingdom are on Morgan’s side, and even the guards won't kill him just for being seen near his manor. Morgan’s time is running out, though. The Galactic Consensus arrived on ships as large as skyscrapers, crafted from glittering alloys that no human scientist could even begin to understand. They followed the trail of century-old television transmissions to welcome us into the galactic community...only to recoil in horror at what they found. They concluded that humans were unfit to be trusted with the advanced technologies that member-states of the Consensus freely traded with each other.

GRUDGE VOICE 👎
im currently struggling to get through this book, I've said this before. I love the story so I keep going, I'm sure this dudes voice sounds good in general but constantly in your ear sounds like the grudge constantly, it's almost unbearable. he's proven he can narrate without most of the over utilized tone, he also doesn't do female voice too bad. to add, the characters introspective voice shouldn't be the same at the narration. it should be the characters voice. besides that I have no issue with Austin but I again, i find the narration tone of voice hard to tolerate that it's hard to understand at some points.
