Publisher's Summary
"Jenny Lawson returns to narrate her third installment in a disheveled saga of finding the light at the end of a long, winding, ludicrous tunnel.... Another treasure in the Lawson collection, this audiobook shines with a powerful message: Depression and anxiety suck, but we can rise above them." (AudioFile magazine, Earphones Award winner)
From the number one New York Times best-selling author of Furiously Happy and Let’s Pretend This Never Happened comes a deeply relatable audiobook filled with humor and honesty about depression and anxiety.
*This program includes an audio-exclusive bonus chapter*
As Jenny Lawson’s hundreds of thousands of fans know, she suffers from depression. In Broken (in the Best Possible Way), Jenny brings listeners along on her mental and physical health journey, offering heartbreaking and hilarious anecdotes along the way.
With people experiencing anxiety and depression now more than ever, Jenny humanizes what we all face in an all-too-real way, reassuring us that we’re not alone and making us laugh while doing it. From the business ideas that she wants to pitch to Shark Tank to the reason why Jenny can never go back to the post office, Broken leaves nothing to the imagination in the most satisfying way. And of course, Jenny’s long-suffering husband Victor - the Ricky to Jenny’s Lucille Ball - is present throughout.
A treat for Jenny Lawson’s already existing fans, and destined to convert new ones, Broken is a beacon of hope and a wellspring of laughter when we all need it most.

Made me laugh and cry in equal amounts
This book is perfection. Jenny, as always, is funny, witty, raunchy, and entirely Jenny. This book has helped me more than she will ever know and I am so grateful to her openness.

For all the broken people
I have read all of Jenny's books and enjoy listening to the audible books after as well. Hearing the words narrated in Jenny's voice with the inflections, frustration, and giggles makes me feel like I am sharing stories with an old friend.

a MUST read!!
Or is it a MUST listen? Either way this book is super! I love hearing Jenny read and share her experiences. Her excitement, love, sorrows, hardships and mishaps are all relatable. I love how everything all came to a nice wrapped up package at the end. I can't wait for her next book! As a Doctor, I will be recommending the book to my patients too. Thanks for your love Jenny, you can really feel it and it helps give others hope!

Hilarious in the best possible way
Relatable, poignant, kind, generous, captivating as a car crash you might have also lived through yourself. Autocorrect suggests that should have said loved through and that would have been true also.

Love
I love Jenny Lawson. She is amazing. She makes me believe in people everywhere. She has her own issues but she is so funny that it hits you later how hard it must be sometimes. But she gets back up and continues to inspire.

Broken together
This book, like Lawson’s previous two, helps those of us who feel broken come together. Her humour, her insight, and her experiences speak to my inner core, like in my stomach but higher up. I look forward to listening to her future books, but while I wait perhaps I’ll go back to the first and “pretend” I’ve never read it. Stay strong Lawsonites (yes, I just invented a name for dedicated follows of Lawson).

Best one yet
This is Jenny’s best work yet. That’s saying a lot. I loved her previous ones. One minute I was laughing and the next chocking back tears with mixed success.
