Publisher's Summary
The saga of two young friends trapped in an endless nightmare of suspicion and surveillance, of cyber-programmed servants and a ruling class with century-long lives - and the enigmatic woman who dominates them all. Narrators Jonathan Davis and Gabra Zackman skillfully split up this sweeping sci-fi epic that is "at once a psychological novel, a murder mystery, and an examination of power on a grand scale." (Locus)

Goes on and on and on
Not my cup of tea. The summary looked interesting but the story just goes on and on about teenage angst interspersed with a lot of nothing. Lost interest 1/3 of the way through.

A real roller coaster
A hard book to start, but the characters become relatable and you can really root for them. A good tale of human nature as it is, but not as it should or could be.
The ending seemed budget inspired. Well, actually, the ending seemed totally uninspired ;-)
