First three not the best, last four are fantastic

I am a *huge* fan of Angela Pepper's Wisteria Witches series, as well as Eli Carter and Stormy Day, and in fact own all the books in all the series' in audible format.

I am on the third title in this set and not finding it particularly enjoyable. In fact, thus far it has been more background noise than anything. I find the stories boring, fairly dark and mostly pointless, and find myself just not paying attention. I haven't figured out if it is the narration of Marie Hoffman or the stories themselves, but I'm not enjoying them at all and have hit the chapter skip button more than once. I got this mainly to listen to Critter Calamity but thought that since her books are usually so awesome the rest would be a bonus - unfortunately that is not so. I am hoping different narrators further along in the set will make it a bit more interesting.

Update: I have finished the second three (Eli Carter) and am almost finished Critter Calamity. I have determined that the narrator on the first three books is not my favorite (Hoffman) and that's likely why I did not enjoy them. Pirhalla is a great narrator and i absolutely love anything Tiffany Williams narrates. If you are like me and don't enjoy the first three books, the last four are worth the credit.
