Publisher's Summary
Relying on the work of more than 50 Bible scholars, as well as the input of a 60-member, multi-denominational Advisory Council, the translation committee chaired by J.I. Packer realized its goals of word-for-word precision and accuracy, literary excellence and readability, and depth of meaning. Written in language beautiful enough to be used for public reading, clear enough for preaching and devotions, and trustworthy enough for academic study, the ESV sets a new standard, and is truly a Bible for all people.

Love this narrator. Wanted ESV and chose this one bc of narrator.
BUT this book is lacking any sort of useful table of contents! A Bible is not like a novel - often you're trying to listen to a specific passage and need to be able to look it up by chapter & verse. I had borrowed this same recording from hoopla many times (except it was the whole Bible, not just the NT) and they have a navigable ToC - you can select Bible book & chapter. Why then is this NT divided into random, unnamed chapters? I've spent a lot of time going through and setting bookmarks at the beginning of chapters (eg. Luke 3, Philippians 2) so I can find things, but now my bookmarks list is quite unwieldy. It's ridiculous. Any audio Bible on audible ought to have a proper, useful table of contents.
