Publisher's Summary
Kabbalah, it is said, was brought down from heaven by angels. The great mystics of Judaism originally passed its teachings by word of mouth only, believing that the secrets of the kabbalah transcended the written word. In this great oral tradition, The Mystical Kabbalah will immerse you in this authentic school of sacred wisdom for reaching peace through union with God. It is a way for you to experience directly this path of inner knowing, with Rabbi David A. Cooper, a master of the meditations associated with its practice.
On this complete audio study course, Rabbi Cooper synthesizes this uniquely-preserved wisdom with original kabbalistic teachings on the sephirot - the mystical structures that underpin all of reality - the Ohr Ein Sof - the original light of creation - and midrash - the teaching stories.
Complete with meditations developed by Rabbi Cooper during six years of work and research in the Old City of Jerusalem, The Mystical Kabbalah is the perfect introduction to this time-honored system for spiritual growth and self-discovery.

Rabbi Cooper's Best
This is a significant and simple explanation of the Sephirot and all things Kabbalah. I own all his books. These are complicated and multilayered concepts. I love the ease and pace of the narration and explanations. He characterizes each of the significant points and gives guided understanding of the topics. There is guided meditations here that I could personally do without but some will like the guided imagery.
I feel he connects the listeners to the most valuable concepts and anchors these to your your unconcious mind if you value your attention, intentionally.
I walk away from this one with a profound inner shift that I won't be able to comprehend for a while and need some experiences to reflect upon to garner some surface concious understandings of what he actually taught me. Comparable to a a calm and gentle Dov Ber Pinson work without Shlomo Zack narratating, it's really worth the time for a basic foundation for Kabbalah. .I do recommend, but be aware you will want other reliable Jewish source materials available for this experiential study.
