Publisher's Summary

Intricate anvils, magical powers, and a world of wonder.

A mysterious force transports Noah to a fantasy realm of magic and levels. Unable to return home, he leans into his Blacksmith Apprentice class. By killing creatures in battle, mining ore, and even picking plants, Noah will obtain the ingredients he needs to create items to help him survive. His old life drags on him at first, a fact he doesn't let hold him down, because on Prixa, there's a brutal war between feline warriors and werewolves.

With his high intelligence, crafting powers, and trusty slingshot, he's determined to make the most of his situation until he can find a way home.

Book 1 - I really like the set up of the story, skills, levels, the conflict, fighting. If you enjoy these types of story, this book is for you. One part that lowered my opinion of this book and had me put it down many times, was the MC has no back bone, one scene he can be fighting and helping to win a battle, then taken by someone, told to do something with no regards to if he was willing, then just goes to work without standing up for himself or asking why, beyond frustrating when listening to the story. If the MC had a back bone even if he has to compromise do to lack of strength I could read without complaint, as he could get revenge later, but when the MC has no back bone, does not stand up for himself and no revenge for the first complete book, I barely finished it. Just started book two and it is the same so far, I'll listen a little longer but don't have high hopes. If the author reads this I suggest keep the same story add the MC standing up for himself and internal thoughts of how to get even or reclaim his dignity. After all if you act as a slave for an entire book it's hard to enjoy the other great aspects of the book.
