“Messily human and sincerely insightful.” —Kirkus Reviews (starred review)
The highly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed, multiple award-winning novel Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe is an “emotional roller coaster” (School Library Journal, starred review) sure to captivate fans of Adam Silvera and Mary H.K. Choi.
In Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, two boys in a border town fell in love. Now, they must discover what it means to stay in love and build a relationship in a world that seems to challenge their very existence.
Ari has spent all of high school burying who he really is, staying silent and invisible. He expected his senior year to be the same. But something in him cracked open when he fell in love with Dante, and he can’t go back. Suddenly he finds himself reaching out to new friends, standing up to bullies of all kinds, and making his voice heard. And, always, there is Dante, dreamy, witty Dante, who can get on Ari’s nerves and fill him with desire all at once.
The boys are determined to forge a path for themselves in a world that doesn’t understand them. But when Ari is faced with a shocking loss, he’ll have to fight like never before to create a life that is truthfully, joyfully his own.

A mediocre follow up
Overall the book had its highs and lows. Lots of slower moments which felt forced and didn't really have a reason to be there.I went into it with high expectations after the first which I have re listened to multiple times. However, the ending was strong and had me in tears.

Beautiful. Just Beautiful.
Love is love is love is love…what a moving story. A sequel that lives up to to its predecessor. Narration elevates the story 1000%. These characters will live on in me forever.

Amazing!
I love this book. The narration was perfect and the story was what I wanted as a sequel to the first book.

I LOVED THIS
I know this book has gotten some bad reviews since people thought the book didn’t need a sequel, but I think it was perfect and very well written. You see just as many amazing and true words and thoughts in this book than I did in the first one. This sequel showed much about their relationship that was very sweet that had ups and downs, and it also shows what a wonderful group of friends Ari had that truest cared for him. Ari’s character development was very impressive and this book really showed how much love he had for his peers and I really admire him. Overall I think the voice was perfect for this novel, and the sound quality was great, and I really appreciate this books making. <3

I didn't realize it was a sequel
I didn't realize this novel was a sequel and just read it because it popped up in my reccomends section. Well I thought it was a beautiful book that was very well written. I loved the character Ari and his narration. This book made me feel what he was feeling because of the nature of the writing and the genuine emotion expressed. It was beautiful. I'm going to go and read the first book now. I wish I had read it first but it will give me somthing to look forward to. If you like to read and contemplate about the world of love and the mosaic that it is, this book is a gem. The narrator Lin did a great job, really made the novel flow.

Heartfelt and Emotional
This book is beautiful and rich and vulnerable and hearfelt and emotional. I loved the first one, but this sequel was even richer. I cried many tears in the latter half of the book. Lin-Manuel Miranda is an extraordinary narrator that brought so much feeling to Ari’s experiences. I loved this one so much.

I cried every step of the way
There were so many highs and lows (dark moments). I had tears of happiness and tears of sadness. I had to take a few pauses/breaks from the story because the emotions I felt were so intense. It was so beautiful and funny to listen to.
Ari’s growth was so tangible. The side characters were so well developed and they felt real and so unique. I loved them all! I love Ari soo much. What a beautiful soul.
The one con I had was the ending. It just wasn’t satisfying enough for me. It felt a bit rushed and I needed a bit more details to slow it down and process what was happening. It ended and I felt like I needed something a bit more. It wasn’t bad enough to negatively impact my love for the novel, but just something I wished was a little more developed.
