  • #488 - Write It In Blood - Price, Utah
    May 3 2024

This week, in Price, Utah, a mysterious man, in a multi colored hat terrorizes the town, when he tries to abduct a young girl, gets chased off, and ends up horribly murdering a woman, while her young daughter looked through a key hole. Police are forced to let the suspect go, but later on, with help from the now grown daughter, they notice something very incriminating, written in blood! But how many more dead young women are out there??

Along the way, we find out that bears are definitely an issue, when walking through mountains, that you maybe shouldn't wear your most identifiable clothing when committing terrible crimes, and that it's very odd to take a picture of a child, in a room full of her mother's blood!

  • #487 - Handsome, Charming & Deadly - Radford, Virginia
    May 2 2024

This week, in Radford, Virginia, when a young lady goes out to dance, she meets a good looking guy, with a very dark past, that she knows nothing about. By morning, she's missing, and the whole area searches for her with no luck. Once blood is found, the investigation heats up with more detectives, psychics & tracker dogs, but she is nowhere to be found. Will this charming young man be charged, even though there's no body? And how many more bodies are out there??

Along the way, we find out that you don't fight a guy who wears a kilt, that just because there's no body, doesn't mean there isn't a crime, and that you can't tell a serial killer by their cover!!

  • #486 - Date Night Death - Long Branch, New Jersey
    Apr 26 2024

This week, in, Long Branch, New Jersey, a respected woman is murdered, in the street, as people from a nearby restaurant hear her screams, all while her cop husband rushes to the scene. Was it just a robbery? Or was it an intricate plot, with many dismissed alternate murder plans, that ended up in this awful & vicious killing? In the end, we get a recorded call, between the killers, explaining the whole sordid tale!

Along the way, we find out that we don't need clowns at the beach, that if you're a 43 year old married man, it's going to be trouble to date a 20 year old woman, and that if you actually do the stabbing, you definitely have to go to prison!!

These stories make my day.

In this crazy world, these two get me through (make me laugh when I really shouldn't).

Not what you think...and more.

The most entertaining, self-aware, and rational podcast of the most wild and wooly cases, ever. Some might find this show offensive, but if you spend enough time with James and Jimmie, you'll discover that along with the comedy is substance and depth. James is probably the hardest working true crime podcaster out there. You get more than your money's worth from his case research...and Jimmie provides the reaction catharsis needed. Their broadcast chemistry is the best out there and for two guys who claim limited formal education, offer up juvenile razzing of a broad range of subcultures (especially their own), and a liberal smattering of dick jokes, they've created one of the smartest podcasts out there.

Trust the process

There are many true crime and comedy shows out there now (ex. “my favourite murder”) but contrary to many others James and Jimmie devote significant time to the story and the victims rather than a 15 minute overview and then talking only of themselves. The comedy portion comes from the weirdness of small towns, idiotic murderers and inept systems.

This is one of the few weekly podcasts I never miss! James and Jimmie are great finding a good balance between respect and humour while always having hilarious tangents (RIP Italian Grandma and I just realized Jimmie hasn’t had an Andrew Jackson moment in a while…).

Yaaaaaaay!

James and Jimmie are the best! Hilarious, respectful, and absolutely full of excellent pop culture references. Make sure you've seen Goodfellas.

Always Great!

These guys together make me laugh so much. The topic can be grim but they're respectful guys, and they tell the story in a respectful way, whilst making jokes at the expense of the small towns, cops, and usually stupid killers.

Quality podcast. Well researched

I don’t regularly write reviews, but the amount of work that goes into this highly entertaining podcast deserves some recognition. I’m still working on the back catalogue. There have been times I’ve laughed so hard my son came to check on me. Well done guys,
