This is book 2 of the Rise Series where we get the back story in regards to the 3 Doms who dominate the Brie’s Submission series. This story is all about Master Anderson.

The 3 doms, Sir Thane Davis, Master Brad Anderson and Rytsar Durov are now in their second year of college and getting more and more comfortable in their new chosen roles of Dominants.

Although all 3 are in this book, the star of book 2 is Brad Anderson Master of the bullwhip and Master Prankster!

Having already read this, I am certain that Jason Clarke is going to do a superb version of Master Anderson, and he does! He has a lovely twang to the voice he uses for Brad and that brings life to him.

What I found more about this audio book was the amount of humour that came through as I was listening.

The other thing that came through was how much all 3 doms have grown in their lives as well as their dominance at the Dungeon.

We have a second encounter with “The Beast” Sir Thane Davis’s mother and we get to meet another character who in the Brie Submission series, Mr. Thompson who becomes Sir Thane Davis’s lawyer and helps to sideline the Beast in this book. Thompson will be an important character who appears throughout the Brie series and other books related to the series.

I again, have to say, that if you read/listen to The Rise Series (Sir’s Rise, Master’s Fate and The Russian Reborn) you will be able to take the background you learn from The Rise Series and bringing that with you to reading the Brie Series can’t hurt. It is all up to the reader how they want to approach this. I will say though, once I had read this series, when I went back to reread the Brie’s series I felt even more connected to the story.

Jason Clarke has brought these 3 men to life and Red Phoenix has given us a background on all 3 Dominants that gives us more insight.
