5.0 out of 5 stars Love. Love. Love❤️

I keep saying the same thing every time I finish on of AL Jackson’s books. She’s done it again. Had me completely captivated from the beginning. You just can’t help but fall in love with her stories and her characters. More of You is no different.
You will laugh, you will smile, you will cry. And a certain character will steal your heart.

Jace is the newest sexy man AL Jackson has introduced to us. So many years ago he left town breaking the heart of the girl he thought was the one. So when he returns after all this time to protect the same girl he’s not welcomed back with open arms. Instead he will have his work cut out to win her back. But not even she can withstand his charm. And charming he is.....

Faith couldn’t believe that he came back after all these years without a word from him still wondering why he left. But his presence is harder to ignore than she thought. He is still as handsome, sexy and charming as he was back then. When someone threatens her safety no other then Jace is there to protect her and only so long can she be in denial about her feelings for him....

Just when you think things are the way they are supposed to be everything seems to be falling apart again.

Let AL Jackson take on this journey. A journey to find happiness, to be with the one you are meant to be. A true story of deep everlasting love. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

WOW just WOW what a book! A.L. Jackson has done it again with the first in her new series Confessions Of The Heart. I don't think this review will do any justice to how perfect this book, this story is.

This is Jace and Faith's story and a second chance romance, which is one of my favourite genres. The characters have been written so well they were all consuming. From the very first page of this book until the very last, I was totally captivated by the profound love and emotions that poured from these characters, along with all the struggles and heartbreak that life threw at them. Add a little girl called Bailey who will melt your heart, some strong secondary characters and this book is just perfection in every way.

As always, A. L. Jackson's writing is impeccable, this author certainly knows how to write a hot, sweet romance but with lots of twists and angst. This is a slow burn of story that will have your heart strings tugging, your tear ducts leaking and making you sigh. She writes with such depth and conviction, she really is a poetic author and extremely talented. Truly Phenomenal !!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Read!!

Faith has been through a lot over the past few months. Now that she in need of help, her ex-boyfriend Jace walks back into her life. It may have been ten years since Faith last saw Jace, the attraction to him hasn’t dimmed nor has what she felt for him. He may hold the key to her future but will he save her or break her.

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Faiths life hasn’t been picture perfect but she has everything she needs. With the loss of her husband, Joseph things are starting to take a turn for the worse when she finds out someone broke into her house. Faith is a strong independent woman who can be stubborn but is fiercely protective of her three year old little girl Bailey. When Jace shows up in town and back in her life she did her best to keep him out. As hard as she fights the attraction they still have between them, having Jace around is bring up old feelings she thought she buried. When Jace decides that he’s going to stay with her she doesn’t put up much of a fight as she is starting to realize that she’s in over her head.

Jace remembers what is was like when he was younger. The only person who truly gave him a chance was Faith but he felt that leaving her was best for her. That didn’t mean that he didn’t love her then or still love her now. Jace is a strong alpha male who has busted his butt to make something of himself. He is loyal to the ones he loves but he’s also very protective of them. It doesn’t matter if he is dating or married to Faith but he has an overwhelming urge to protect her and her little girl.

After a scare of a lifetime, Faith can’t help but feel uneasy. Her protective instincts have kicked in and now she feels like she’s being watched. Having threating notes show up in places that should be difficult to get into just shows how her how right she is to be afraid. Having Jace back in her life is equally scary and exhilarating with some guilt. It’s only been a short time since her husband was murdered but having Jace around and all those old feeling flooding back make her feel like she is doing something wrong. It doesn’t help when he insists on moving in to help protect her.

The sexual tension between these two is so thick you could cut it with a knife. Their relationship may have ended years ago but what was between them still hasn’t ended. Holding back is hard for both of them as what brought them together when they were young is still there. Add in Faith’s daughter bailey and Jace never had a chance. She is one of the most adorable little kids you could have. A little too smart for her own good but so trusting when it comes to Jace, like she knows that he will be there for her and her mom. Jace will do anything to protect Faith and Bailey even if it costs him everything.

A.L. Jackson wrote a great story that had me captivated. I couldn’t help but fall in with both Faith and Bailey. Faith isn’t the damsel in distress but a strong woman who only wants to protect her daughter. Add in a past love and a stranger who is after something, and you’ve got one amazing suspense story that had me on the edge of my seat. For me, it took a bit to get into the story but once it got going, I couldn’t put the book down. I love this book but Bailey ended up being my favorite character of the whole book. How could you not love a little girl who steals your heart and makes you melt every time she appears in the book? She’s the character who brings it all together.

4.0 out of 5 stars An entertaining second chance romance!
Reviewed in Canada on September 13, 2018
More of You was a captivating and beautifully written second chance love story. Jace and Faith's story is told from dual POV and it alternates between past and present time. The heart and the emotions simply leapt from the pages. I really enjoyed the love story, as well as the elements of suspense and mystery that were weaved into the plot.

From the very beginning I felt the connection between the two main characters. Even after so many years apart, there was clearly still love that remained. Even underneath the hurt and the anger, the pain and mistakes, you could just feel the tension and the pull between these two souls. I believed in their love and I rooted for them to fight through the darkness!

An entertaining story that kept me glued to it's pages. More of You is bursting with angst, love, heat, and drama. I really look forward to reading the follow-up novel in this new standalone series!

A.L. Jackson does it again with this beautifuly written story about Jace and Faith... so much feeling and emotional content page after page, it’s everything that we have come to expect from this fabulous author and you wonder how does she do it time after time but she does.
As you get more and more involved with everything that is Jace and Faith you can’t help the need to want to know everything that has happened between Jace and Joseph, we get teased here and there and have a good idea what Joseph is all about but we need more.
It’s not until we learn more about jace’s past that we start to get a bigger picture although it’s still not enough the feeling of being close but so far away is very apparent add to that the emotional element...it absolutely consumes you.
When Jace is released from prison, he’s met by his brother Ian and this is when he finds out about Faith and Joseph and we learn that Faith never received his letters, this is when the full impact of Jace’s situation hits you full force and for Jace it’s crushing.
From this moment on you can only hope that truth prevails, so much has happened and still happening and A.L.Jackson keeps us guessing all the way, I thought we’d lost Jace at one point and your emotions are put to the test in more ways than one... one of those times is the letters that Faith finally got to read, as if that isn’t enough when Jace reads the one from Joseph to him it is pretty heartbreaking and for a minute I felt sad for Joseph but it was always meant to be Jace, Faith and Bailey.
Thank you.!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beauty and the Beast…

Her Beast to his Beauty, the story of Jace and Faith brings about a young love that turns to heartbreak as Jace makes a decision that paves the way for heartbreak and see years pass before they meet again. As the past catches up with them both and secrets are revealed, will they find happiness once again and learn to dream again together?
This book is as intense as her other books, and it’s the first time I’ve become annoyed with one of A L Jackson’s characters - wanted to scream at Faith for how blind she was yet she redeemed herself when she realised just exactly what and why Jace did what he did … always her protector, always his only love. But will Jace ever love himself enough to believe in the future?

Four stars

More of You (Book 1 of Confessions of the Heart Series) by A L Jackson.

Loved the book. It was a great romance read and a tear jerker in some places. The characters Jason (Jace) and Faith are so likeable. Faith is “the good girl” form a good family, and Jace is the boy from the wrong side of town with a drug addled mother an he has a younger brother Ian, and a cousin Joseph who he feeds, looks after, protects, and will do anything for.

Faith falls for Jace the moment she sees him, and was told to stay clear of them, but of course every good girl loves a bad boy, but is Jace the bad boy the town makes out his is.

This is a book about second chances, and after breaking her heart and walking away from her 10 years before, Jace now storms into her life once more, along with baggage and secrets.

Ive given the book 4 stars, and I loved it so much, that I’m just about to settle down in my favourite recliner, with a cup of hot milo, and begin the second book of the series, All of Me.
