Well that was beyond entertaining! Is it a crazy concept that a jilted bride takes her honeymoon alone and unknowingly falls for the man who was supposed to be the bestman in her cancelled wedding? Crazy! They start a cross country adventure that actually has a great depth to the characters (both using fake names 😉)and unfolds as a hot romance. Admittedly in the middle I was abit annoyed at Maddie/Hazel for flip flopping between Matteo and her ex...but it was really well done. I was fist pumping when we learned her ex- Bryan had actually cheated because you will be rooting for Matteo for the entire book. Loved him. Everyone wants to meet a Matteo!! You will easily get lost in the pages envisioning these characters so get a glass of wine and enjoy!!

Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward did it again. I so needed a book like this with this COVID-19 situation. What an amazing story!

This book is full of adventure for two perfect strangers who meet and decide to go on a road trip. I literally could not put Milo and Maddie’s story down. Milo is such a gentleman, fell in love with him from the start.

You will not be able to look at a pineapple the same after reading this book!!!

I read this book in 2 hours. I wasn’t able to put it down.

I really recommend this book!

As the saying goes, it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey along the way and for this book it’s both - where the journey and the destination are magical with every page turn. The journey between Milo/Matteo and Maddie/Hazel is emotional, uplifting, at times gut-wrenching, but just like life, filled with tears and pain, joy and laughter where the reader comes along on their journey witnessing every twist and turn that they encounter. The what-ifs, the what could have been, and the what can be… Believe me, there are many! The last few chapters were my absolute favorite and will leave you at the edge of your seat in anticipation to see what happens.
Individually, Penelope and Vi are such amazing authors in their own right, and when they collaborate, it is absolutely pure magic! If you are looking for a fun, unpredictable, completely addictive sweet and sexy read – look no further. My Favorite Souvenir will be your favorite too.

OMG how brilliant was this book? The perfect story to take you away from all of today's stress and be lost in a funny, romantic, and emotional love story. Matteo and Hazel were just perfect.

After her fiance cancels their wedding Hazel decides to go on her honeymoon alone and after a number of disasters finds herself stuck in a snowstorm trying to get a room in a hotel with a few hundred other people. While over hearing a gorgeous man use the fake name of someone who has cancelled in order to get a room she barges in and pretends to be his sister to get one for herself.

This is the start of an incredible friendship, romance and journey as Hazel and Matteo (or their alter egos Milo and Mattie Hooker) go on a road trip together. They discover all kinds of new things while on the road as well as discovering that they are developing feelings for each other that are getting deeper by the mile. Unfortunately the timing is not right as Hazel is recovering from being dumped and needs time to herself to recover. They make a pact to meet again at a hotel in New Orleans on Valentines day and both of them head back to their real lives. Neither of them knowing how intertwined their lives really are and how when the truth is revealed it will rock both of their worlds.

This is definitely one of Penelope and Vi's best books and was just what I needed to engross me for a few hours. I loved it and would highly recommend it as a get away from it all good time.

My Favorite Souvenir by Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland is their brand new standalone contemporary romance that borders on a love triangle without ever actually being twisted up in one. Told in dual POV between Hazel/Maddie and Matteo/Milo, this book is equal parts hilarious, heartbreaking and heartwarming. Maddie & Milos beginning is fun, adventurous and totally carefree. The interaction with Zara in Nola left me with chills. The conflict with Brady was exhausting. As a reader on both sides of the story, I just knew he HAD to GO, but watching Hazel work through her emotions was exactly why I read romance and love these authors so much. Milo/Matteo - swoon! Sweet and thoughtful but also possessive and slightly alpha - yes please. With outrageously awkward moments for each of these characters and some super steamy times too, this was another spectacular romance from one of my favorite co-author teams! Enjoy!

Well once again I have a smile on my face after reading the last words of this amazing book.
This story is about Matteo and Hazel. From the moment they meet you know this is going to be an amazing ride. And that is it.

Meeting under peculiar circumstances this relationship between two lost sounds begins. From meeting in Vail to an unexpected road trip there is never a doll moment when they are together....until the day they have to say goodby.

With plans to meet up again in New Orleans a few months later on Valentine’s Day nobody could have guessed where this story goes.

Will they meet up again as planned or will what he opens in the meantime mean the end for them?

A fun, sexy, heartfelt story that will have you swoon once again not only over Matteo but will also have you fall in Love with Hazel.

This book is another exciting and intriguing collaboration of Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland. It's a delightful slow burn story, told from alternating points of view and in two sections. Our two main characters manage to accidentally meet in a hotel during a snow storm; comically and creatively manage to end up sharing a suite and as free spirits choosing to spent days touring together. And collecting Souvenirs.

Attraction and chemistry exists between them almost from their first meeting but there appears to be a conscious decision not to exploit their situation. But why is intimacy and love put on hold? Well, you must get this book and find out for yourself. No spoilers from me.

This is a delightful storyline of two people who meet in a hotel lobby pretending to be brother and sister to get two bedrooms for the night in the middle of a white out. The pseudo names Milo and Maddy. The real names Mattoe and Hazel. One has been jilted, one has a broken past.Both are lonely. A lovely light story with morals, attitude, adventurism and love. Matteo is a very handsome patient male who happens to be visiting his parents and Hazel a lady spending her honeymoon on her own, have a chance meeting that leads to an adorable storyline. Well written, flows well, and beautifully described. Believable characters that are interesting, complex and appealing. Well worth 5 stars.
