Chris Ayres is the No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of 'Last Rites' with Ozzy Osbourne, and other titles including 'I Am Ozzy' and 'War Reporting for Cowards'.

Chris also writes for television, currently under a deal with Chernin Entertainment and Fifth Season. His pilot scripts have sold to Apple TV+, CBS and Roku/Lionsgate.

A former war correspondent, Chris was Los Angeles bureau chief for The Times (London) and a contributing editor at British GQ and The Sunday Times Magazine.

Born and raised in Northumberland, England, Chris now lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Lucie, an interior designer, and their two children.
