Passion… I am that person who keeps going. My pathway to authorship is an extension of who I am. Having completed college in Maine and Medical School in Vermont I went on to become a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist. Family and family building are at my core. Founding and serving as the Medical Director at Illume fertility for the past 20 years as well as starting Gay Parents To Be a leading family building resource for the LGBTQ+ are expressions of my passion. I serve on the board of the Nest Egg Foundation which grants funds to those in need of IVF. Advocating for inclusivity and fairness for all people is a constant drumbeat in my life. I choose to act, advocate, and speak for everyone who needs family building support Becoming a parent through egg donation and surrogacy has been a defining moment in my life. I hope this book provides needed resources and advice to anyone who wants to be a parent and helps them to take that step on their way to parenthood.
