I am not too far into the book but I am really enjoying it the few chapters I have read. It has been enlightening for me. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to be healthier and prevent/remedy fatigue.
3.0 out of 5 starsInformative when it comes to hormones

Highly informative book about hormones and the effects of imbalance, something rarely discussed when visiting a GP in my experience. I found the sections detailing the hormonal system most interesting, and something different to other gut health books.
The reason I gave this 3* is because at times the book goes a little too far in term of cutting things out, in my opinion (such as gluten/grains and dairy) - she does say that if you handle dairy well then to include it but from reading other books I would be cautious of cutting out major food groups, seems there is conflicting evidence here. However, the messaging on plant diversity and increasing fibre is consistent with other professionals in the field.
I’ve definitely incorporated the circadian fasting following the book, and am more mindful of my hormones. I was already on a predominately plant based diet, and have chosen not to follow the food plan.
5.0 out of 5 starsIts probably one of the best books I've ever read!

This book is so informative, i always had a good understanding of healthy food, lifestyle & it's effect on us but to read the science behind it makes so much sense, I'm only halfway through the book but I've learned so much its brilliant. Definitely recommend it, it's fascinating!
