4.0 out of 5 starsGreat 4-book series .

This was book 4 of a 4-book series...it was intriguing, interesting, and kept my interest thru all 4 books. I enjoyed all 4 books of the series, and will now look for the authors other series to see if they get my attention the same way.
I read the entire series and enjoyed them all on a whole! I would definitely recommend them. Marie Force knows how to bring her characters to life, which is what I love the most about reading her books.
This lovely and excellently written book starts by illuminating the life of singer Kate Harrington. After ten years of super stardom, fame and wealth; endless travel, stay in many, many cities and hotels she yearns for a normal life away from the constant glare of the paparazzi microscopes. She yearned to have a husband, a family... children. But she mostly yearns to find Reid Matthews. But why?
Looking back, at eighteen Kate had fallen in love with wealthy construction entrepreneur Reid. He was was forty five. But without hesitation and thoughts of the consequences she had walked away from him when she learnt that he had gone against her wishes and asked his friend the top musical producer Buddy Longstreet to come and hear her sing in Nashville.
Now, after years of being lonely, overworked, suffering from pneumonia and bouts of sickness and dizziness she evaluates her health and life whilst in hospital. She is there with her eldest sister Jill who is also her manager and lawyer. And Kate evaluates that they both need a well earned vacation.
Kate's search for Reid Matthews eventually takes her to the small caribbean island of St Kitts. There Reid is in a relationship but after only seconds of seeing each other their love and need for each other is rekindled. But will they get a second chance to be together? What have they learned in the intervening years? How will Kate's father and Reid's son react to the rejuvenation of their relationship? Who will Kill find love with?
Well you MUST make every effort to read this fourth book yourself and perhaps we will get a fifth in the future.
After reading her other books, which were fast moving and interesting, especially the book before this one, I thought book four would be the same. Unfortunately this was not the case, it seemed to be when the story was flagging, Ms Force would throw in another sex scene, which got somewhat monotonous after a while. All in all very disappointing and a complete waste of money.
I loved the rest of this series, but there were too many graphic sexual references in this book. I could not read it on the plane where there were other people who could look at what you were reading. Otherwise a good book.
As always the book was a joy if some what predictable as M.F. likes a tidy happy ever after ending. The usual pregnancy plus nausea can be a bit off putting as most pregnancy go forward with out those symptoms still a good.read.
Loved this series down loaded the first one for free and became hooked read them all in three days must say Marie Force is becoming one of my favourite authors she writes fantastic stories with great passion and love this series is a must read
I loved Kate and Reid's story it was beautifully written marie force is in my top three authors now amazing I hope she's going to give Maggie her own book so we can go back and see everyone again I miss them already
I loved almost everything about the book. I wasn't happy Mari was made to be a villain, as that made it too easy for Reid to walk away from her with very little remorse. I haven't even read the 3rd book as I was so eager to find out about the star couple of the series. As I got towards the end of the book, I started to wish it wouldn't end. Well done Marie Force!!!

Enjoyed the way the book was written, very descriptive but towards the middle of book you just know how it will end, saying this, it didn't spoil my enjoyment of this book and the others in the series of Treading Water
