"New Sales. Simplified" was a great book by Mike. "Sales Management Simplified" is another excellent investment in time. Mike's no-nonsense, direct approach comes from his many observations from working with his clients. If you;re a Sales Manager, Sales Director, VP of Sales or Business Owner, you really need to make this book a priority.
I read Mike Weinberg's Sales Management. Simplified book first. I was so impressed by the book, I then read New Sales. Simplified. Both books are fantastic resources for any sales professional, regardless of experience level. Our company is working through the power statement exercise right now, and we've already put in place some of the planning and targeting steps he recommends. We have much to gain by Mike's experience!
Ordered this book after seeing it as part of a listicle on sales management books. I was NOT disappointed. Mike has to be the most straight-to-the-point author out there. You will have to take a hard look at your company's sales function and come to grips with reality. Short easily digested chapters and a writing style that will keep even the most ADD people interested. This is all actionable advice. After finishing this one, I ordered his other book "New Sales. Simplified.". That's how impressed I was with this book. Highly recommend.
Well written - part of 4 books i bought at the same time on the topic of sales management. This one has the real life example yet it then takes you through setting up the practical. It's not just stories, tales of glory from an old sales rep/ manager who tells of how he/ she was so adept. This is from a practical, lived experienced sales manager. I found it very insightful and he clear states his concerns that managers should be aware of when leading their sales team. A solid read.
Great read that provides practical insight into managing your team more effectively. This book is full of great stories that may make you laugh or cringe depending on what level of management you are in.
I recommended this book to my boss, and told him to purchase a copy for all the managers in our sales org. The feedback was great from everyone. I Highly recommend you purchase this book. It's helped me focus my efforts in the right areas.

Simple and honest in its approach, it’s a great read for anyone that knows that getting the basics right, and getting back to them, is the key to a successful sales career. A great present for those managers that believe they do a great job by hitting 60 hour a weeks without engaging with their team or their customers!

Mike Weinberg, simply nailed this in my head....this one is there to stay with me forever as my reference guide. The beauty about this book is the way Mike has written in no sugar coated words. He is magnificiantly brutal in his dislikings for Sins, of so called modern sales managers. To be honest I loved the way he makes his point with the truth, loaded with his sense of humour. The book is devided in two parts, part one is where you are shaken to the core about what is not sales management. You will relate to this so beautifully, at least I did, seeing what is happening around us. Part two is where once your basics of Sales Management is fixed, the simplification lessons are provided. This is a must referred points in daily life of every sales manager. How I wish every top management executive should read this and also gift this to every budding sales managers. I highly recommend you buy this now and just read this as soon as possible. BRILLIANT NOT TO BE MISSED 👍
