Another heartfelt tale of two adults who think they know their own minds. That is, until they meet - then it's not a matter of boy meets girl and vis versa but truly seeing each other for who they are for the first time. Well written and charming with the added heat that is Lili's signature touch, this book will introduce you to characters who will become you newest book-friends.

I hate it when a book forces you to purchase the next one in the series in order to find some type of resolution, comma, or even semicolon to the previous story. You can end with a cliffhanger and still give some resolution to the reader, which is why this book gets a 3. Instead of a cliffhanger it feels more like an incomplete sentence, unfinished, and there is a diffrrence. Also, the end of this book feels like I am being forced into a purchase; that is if I want to find out how Colton survives his plunge. We know he will as the story prologue is clear that Colt and Olivia make it to the in between the sheets part. As much as I hated the so called end to this book, the storyline is formulaic, which is not a bad thing in this case. Given that, I have to imagine that the two fall in love and complications arise over choices to be made. I do like Colton and Olivia and their blossoming love story. The town of Lovers Leap is also endearing and has a great story behind it that is very today. The vignettes that offer a glimpse into other characters, the Broady family and Olivia's also make the town and it's people relatable. They give the story a fullness, which is also why I did not rate the book lower. I won't purchase the next book in the series out of principles. However, I do wish the best for Colton and Olivia.
