I FRICKIN LOVED IT!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS SERIES?? THE BEST BOOK IN THE WHOLE SERIES!!! AND HOW DID ROWLEY GET A GIRLFRIEND??? I NEVER EXPECTED THAT!!! BUY THIS NOWWWWW!!!
The loveable loser, Greg Heffley, brings to mind my experiences back from my childhood years. I am an adult fan of these humourously illustrated diaries. Loved the eight ball entries.

I feel so happy my 10 year old son loves reading the diary of a wimpy kid books. Seriously makes me smile watching him so engrossed into this book and laughing uncontrollably 😂😂.
We were on the tram 🚃 to school 🏫 and he was reading it whilst other adult commuters were watching him with his leg crossed, book 📕 opened and engrossed so much so he wasn’t concerned about the world going by him.
There were random outbursts of laughter from his little cheeky chubby face as he looked up at me smiled and went straight back in.
He gets off the tram with book still opened, reading it whilst I’m guiding him crossing the road to make his way to school. He gets to school looks up and around him and says “woah…how did we get here so fast!”
Amazing book that keeps children entertained and adult happy 😃 👍🏼👍🏼

As this book was the 8th of the series, I had doubts on whether it would live up to the standards of the previously published books. However when my daughter, an advanced reader, came back to me after reading it in one day enquiring if she could have the next book, those doubts were cleared.
Jeff Kinney delivers another successful story of Greg and his awkward life which is relatable for pre-teens like my daughter. The comedic events never fail to make her laugh along with the unique illustrations.
Overall this book was a fun read and worth the buy.

It's not often that my daughter and son will enjoy something with equal enthusiasm. But the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books seem to be the exception.
As an advanced reader, they are pretty simple for my daughter(10) and she read this book in less than a day.
For my son(7) these are perfect. Written and presented in an engaging style that leads you from page to page with large print and plenty of pictograms to enjoy, for him there is a real satisfaction in sitting down to read and complete a book like this; he gets a great sense of accomplishment from it.
The story itself is very funny. It's got some laugh-out-loud moments and a couple of gross ones too; just what fans of the series can expect to enjoy. We're already eagerly awaiting the next instalment in the series.
When i read this book it was entertaining and comical. The only reason i havent given this a five star is because of the way greg acts.He acts like the world revolves around him and that people should be praising him.Personally i am appaled towards the way that greg acts to rowley and how greg is so self obsessed .Furthermore the book was a good read
