5.0 out of 5 starsPraise and positive affirmation were rare commodities in my home ...

Praise and positive affirmation were rare commodities in my home when I was growing up; self-doubts and self-sabotage followed. This book has taught me so much about being my own life coach, reminding me to be careful what I say to myself (because my subconscious is listening), and to baby step my way to achieving both short and long-term goals. Thank you, Mr. Pettigrew. I plan to read your book again and again.
Excellent material, although nothing that I haven’t seen elsewhere in different formats. The value of this book lies in how the author structured the information, and the examples of how he personally benefited from using his system. I’d have given it a 5-star rating, but it was a bit repetitive at times – could have used a good edit.
5.0 out of 5 starsVrai bon guide pas à pas! Real good step to step guide

(Français après) * English: This book goes directly to the point: it guides us to write our goals in different areas of or life. Then it help us define each of them, to the point where it reach our highest level of motivation. It gives a lot of tricks, skills, tools, websites. Also some gifts charts resuming all of this.
2.0 out of 5 starsLoses credibility with debunked pseudoscience
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 28, 2019
A good read until he veers off the science of goal setting into the realm of hard-core pseudoscience. The author goes from how your thought form your reality to... psychic powers. He references Dr Matsura Emoto (not a real doctor) who claimed that by projecting emotions at water before freezing he could influence the ice crystals that would then form - depending on whether the emotions used were happy or angry. If true this would this be one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs of all time. Genuine proof that the human consciousness can manipulate matter ourside of the confines of your own body). Of course it's not true. 2 minutes on Google will debunk the experiment proving that it never been replicated under laboratory conditions and that Emoto broke every rule (no blind testing, no peer review, confirmation is etc). Once the book started down this path things became even sillier, references to homeopathy and even a home experiment for the reader to move a tinfoil fan with the power of their mind. At this point I was out, about a quarter of the way in. What started out promising ended up losing all credibility. I can't believe that this book made No.1... If you're into homeopathy, crystals, reiki and the like then this book is for you. If you're looking for a scientific fact based method without any pseodoscience then look elsewhere. I would never have bought this book had I known it was of the Deepak Chopra school of pseudo science.
