I ordered the paperback edition for under $15. I was suprised how small the book was and was able to read it in only 2 sittings. Not much value for $15. The Kindle version is much better value. Most of the book is taken up with the author's lfe story which although proving his credentials is of very little use in making your life safer from dirty electricity. He provides little help other than not living near main power lines or cell towers and his only solution is out of reach for most peoples pocket books. Amazon offers a meter and 20 filters for $806 with the Stetzerizer units. He does however show conclusive evidence that dirty electricity is very harmful to the human body. Unfortunately in today's modern digital world it is almost impossible to avoid exposure from cell phones, wifi, smart meters and soon to appear smart appliances.
As well as describing dirty electricity the book is also an autobiography of the author. He takes the reader through his career as an epidemiologist, which I found interesting. An important part of the book is his investigation of a cancer cluster at a school called La Quinta in which the transients on the electricity supply are particularly high. The author claims very convincingly that the two are connected. One has to be careful in such studies because correlation does not necessarily mean causation. In other words, all good studies need a separate control study. To prove his theory it would be necessary to clean up the electricity supply and see whether the cancer rates reduce to the average. It's sad to read how much resistance there was to the study from the local authorities. Obviously, they didn't want to be held liable, but the lives of the teaches and children are at stake. It's a thinner book than I was expecting - you can read it in a couple of hours. I recommend it.
Dirty electricity has been linked to cancer, obesity, ADHD, depression, diabetes and other diseases of the modern age. Written by an expert it provided conclusive evidence that some electrical equipment and power lines are making us sick - but as with tobacco, those in authority are not prepared to do anything about it.
As WiFi and the use of handheld technology increases we may be facing a surge in the deaths of uneducated users. If you are worried about dirty electricity in your home or workplace you can buy a metre and filters for your home (a kit is available on ebay for about £500), but best of all you'll turn off your WiFi when it's not in use, and reduce your computer/mobile phone/TV use.
This is an excellent read. A short book written as a biography with plenty of science to back up the authors claims.
5.0 out of 5 starsFabulous informative research into the concept and causes of dirty electricity and electrically induced modern diseases.

Fantastic book. A must read for anybody concerned with health and the reasons for the diseases of modern civilisation. It always seemed like more to me than just nutrient deficient diets and exposure to the chemical toxins in our environment. Epidemiologist Samuel Milham's immense efforts to identify the causes of modern diseases including deadly cancers are outstanding. He has spent years trying to get his research findings into the public domain. Since electrification we are all being exposed to increasingly higher amounts of mains electricity created electromagnetic fields, and more recently wireless radiation and dirty electricity from modern devices.

Briliant and insightful. People must read this to protect themselves and their families. The more people are informed the less likely will be taken advantage of by the corporations and self-serving interests seeking to enslave us and ignore our ills and suffering.

This is a book by a very influential epidemiologist (medical statistician) who performed a range of important scientific studies in his career. The book is a fairly easy read and very convincing in his exposition of rather shockingly high levels of illness induced by the health effects of electrical pollution in building wiring in the US. Also the range of illnesses which are made better by reducing exposure are surprising.

Sam is an epidemiologist - so he only really does the big picture stuff and not the scianctifics of how it may work. BUT it's a very convincing account of how electricity is an important factor in causing the widespread diseases of modern civilisaton.
5.0 out of 5 starsA must-read for all those within reach of a switch!

It is obvious that this book is written by someone who cares about the ongoing effects of this invisible potential killer. A great book, backed up by years of research, which will point you in the way to clean up your own electrical environment with the obvious health benefits that will follow.
