5,0 sur 5 étoilesAnderson does not disappoint!!!

Anderson writes amazing suspense. I was literally on the edge of my seat, at one point yelling at the characters, scared for them in other places. The characters were masterful, you can’t help but fall in love with Dominic and Ava and it’s always nice to see the old Cold Justice gang pop up here and there! I really wish I could give this book more than 5 stars!
Book 1 in "Cold Justice - Crossfire" - Toni Anderson's new series about FBI Hostage Negotiators didn't disappoint! It's got all the plot twists and high octane romance of her original "Cold Justice" series. And Mallory finally has her baby in as dramatic a situation as fans could want, so if you're craving a Mallory/Alex fix, you'll really want to grab this book!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it has the perfect mixture of love and fear with a great ending twist. I am now going to buy another book by this author and I am sure I will enjoy it as much as this one.

Toni's books never disappoint - I loved the character of Ava (doing what she believe's is right even if it means stepping on bosses and "big-wig" toes; super gutsy lady too). I got to admit I fell for Toni's latest twist and was totally surprised about the "villain's" identity. It was great to find out more about characters from the preceding Cold Justice series.
Wow, this was a fabulous book! Both Ava and Dominic are suspicious of the death of their friend and mentor and join forces to investigate. There were plenty of twists and turns which kept me guessing and it was well paced with a good balance of dialogue to action. Ava and Dominic try to fight the attraction they have towards one another given that they are FBI co-workers and both adverse to long term relationships. However I am glad to report they finally give in to temptation and love! This story had me hooked from the very beginning and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know these brave and dedicated agents. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.
What a great book. It captured me from start to finish. A real page turner with a delicious dash of romance. As a fan of Karen Rose and loreth Ann White i have read all their books and was trying to find a replacement to tide me over until they release new material (have unfortunately read many mediocre authors in my quest) Enter Toni Anderson, loved her writing style, loved the characters, thoroughly enjoyed the plot and didnt figure out who the bad guy was until the great reveal. Can't wait to read book 2.
Thanks loved the book, that was a thrilling ride from start to finish. Definitely a couldn't put it down kind of thing. My second Toni Anderson book I recommend everyone to get into this series. I am hooked and will be getting all of them, plus the next new one I look forward to. Thanks
I found the rookie agent really irritating. I get that we want strong females but in all the other novels I liked the heroines, they were flawed but I could relate to them. This one really gets on my nerves, like she was a teenager so I stopped reading.
Wow what an intense and emotional book! I loved seeing Mal and Alex again! Dominic and Ava were complete opposites but their chemistry was off the charts sizzling. This book had a bit of everything, drama, intrigue, suspense and of course the most important ingredient...love. I couldn’t put this book down. Awesome. I cannot wait for the next book now.
I love the characters and the mystery. It has everything I look for in a book. It tells you of 2 agents who lose a mentor and father figure to what is thought to be a suicide. But Ava, a rookie, thinks he was murdered. She just has to convince others
