I have been waiting anxiously for this book. I love single dad books, and just knew in my heart of hearts this book wouldn't disappoint. And it sure didn't.
Frannie is a 27 year old whos family owns and runs Cloverleigh Farms. Mack is 37 and works there. He's an ex-marine(yum), single dad(sigh) to three adorable little girls, and is a hard working man(yay)!
Frannie works part time at Cloverleigh and also nannys part time for Mack. They both are attracted to each other, but she doesn't think he's interested, and he thinks she's way off limits for many, many reasons. She's his bosses daughter, he puts everything he has into trying to make sure his daughters have the best life they can, plus he has a crazy ex-wife.
One night together was all he was willing to give. Until one night just wasnt enough for him. But could he give her all she wants in life(marriage, babies...his time?) and still be a good dad to the girls? We get to see Mack struggle with himself on learning to put himself first sometimes, not taking everything on his plate alone and learning to love again.
I'm sad that I read this book so fast, because well you only ever get to read a book once. And this one I wish I could read first over and over again. Being a single mom I totally get how Mack feels. Just wishing for one morning to sleep in, five minutes to yourself or just that daily struggle of am I doing everything I can for my children. I can't write this enough but you won't regret reading this book. In fact I know you will love it. I cried, i laughed, I fell in love with these characters. From the two main characters right down to Macks adorable children. I wish I could give this a million stars ****
