A closer look at the misconceptions of hunter gatherer tribes showed how we lost connection to our basic human needs. This is a book stating the facts and not a solution to the problems we will all soon face.

a dull story with lots of insight and philosophy

Ok overall the book was extremely boring however I do think there Is something to gain here. I plan on re reading in the future and I feel like Ben makes a'lot of good points in this book. My favorite part was the last few pages when Ben talks about his daughter. That braught a tear to my eye and definitely shows a realer side of Ben. "One day she will be faced with the same tough questions we all do."

A great message and great performance.

at times it can be dull and boring and empty just like life and depression can. Overall I think this book produces a great look at why we are depressed and why certain values can lead us in a better path. However I feel like part 3 is the books downfall. The solutions I feel were to drawn out with no real direction. The conclusion was good and a UBI I think could help a lot.

A well narrated story and a compelling message.

I laughed and cried during this book. there were questionable moments but it remained a good read in the end and I would highly recommend it. I could easily see this book being much better in the audio format. Charlamagne bring an energy to this story that truly make you immersed in it. The book is witty and humorous but still keeps a positive message around discipline, ethics and values. I truly enjoyed this one. Thankyou
