Love to read books by Christine Feehan. But I don’t always like the rhythm of the same story in audio format. Don’t know why.
But the Ladies stories are great. And this one hits all the marks. Great story.

Fallon Swift, approaching her thirteenth birthday, barely knows the world that existed before - the city where her parents lived, now in ruins and reclaimed by nature since the Doom sickened and killed billions. Traveling anywhere is a danger, as vicious gangs of Raiders and fanatics called Purity Warriors search for their next victim. Those like Fallon, in possession of gifts, are hunted - and the time is coming when her true nature, her identity as The One, can no longer be hidden. In a mysterious shelter in the forest, her training is about to begin under the guidance of Mallick, whose skills have been honed over centuries.

Post apocalypse story telling
Évalué le: 2018-12-12
This book is a great continuation of the first book. But also has a great story of its own. It has a full detailed outlook of what it could really be like if it really happened and how different groups would deal with what’s left.
I like this book and the story a great deal.

Histoire
Orphaned as an infant, young Harry Potter has been living a less-than-fortunate life. Belittled by his pompous uncle and sniveling aunt (not to mention his absolute terror of a cousin, Dudley), Harry has resigned himself to a mediocre existence in the cupboard under the stairs. But then the letters start dropping on the doormat at Number Four, Privet Drive....

Got to love and relate to the strange kid finding out he’s not so strange just one of many kids and people that are all different. Harry has it all. Well written story with a great message for everyone out there. And it’s fun when it’s read to you.

Histoire
On a chilly February night, during a screening of Psycho in midtown, someone sunk an ice pick into the back of Chanel Rylan's neck, then disappeared quietly into the crowds of drunks and tourists in Times Square. To Chanel's best friend, who had just slipped out of the theater for a moment to take a call, it felt as unreal as the ancient black-and-white movie up on the screen. But Chanel's blood ran red, and her death was anything but fictional.

Classic Eve Dallas mystery. Has you going along with the hunt for the bad guy. Great storyline. But the growth of Nadine is this book just makes you want to read the next and see what happens for her next.
