Histoire
When H. G. Wells first published The War of The Worlds in 1898, the novel quickly became a sci-fi classic. The story of extraterrestrials from Mars invading Earth captured the public’s imagination, inspiring a famed 1938 radio broadcast with Orson Welles, several feature films, countless video games, and a best-selling musical concept album by Jeff Wayne in 1978, among others.

Actual story about 40%, music 60%. Too much music, not enough storytelling.
I think that if it hadn't been on sale I would be really choked about having spent more than the little I did

This multicast dramatisation of Arabian Nights: Volume 1 is an Audible Original reenvisioning of three iconic tales - with a twist. Adapted by the great Marty Ross, whose previous audio dramas include Romeo and Jude, Dark Shadows, Doctor Who and Blood and Stone, listeners can expect to hear Sheherezade, Ali Baba & 40 Thieves and Julnar the Sea Born as they've never done before.

Histoire
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Not worth the time

Definitely not as good as The Martian.
The performance was ok, however, given that Rosario Dawson is an actual working actress I expected that she would be able to actually pronounce words properly. Tighten would become tie 'en, button would become budden, important..impore-end and so on. There are quite a few more examples, but I'm guessing that everyone gets the drift.
The character was very immature, plot was not very well thought out. I got very tired of the feeling of being in a classroom and listening to the teacher drone on about stuff that I didn't need to know.
Overall, unimpressed. 😔

I would recommend this book to anyone. GRIPPING, SUSPENSEFUL and fairly fast moving. Couldn't wait to see what happened next.
