I've struggled for 4 yrs with letting a boy (he ain't no man) go and half way thru this I deleted all his contact info. I'm going to listen to it again... and likely again

I'm not a runner but this makes me want to be. so Much information that could have been quite dry but was presented in a very interesting and engaging way.

loved it

Jane Curtain and John Cena really stand out but the entire cast is great. found the silliness entertaining and a nice change of pace from my typical true crime stories

this is the first I've been disappointed in a JP novel. I found the timeline jumped back and forth and between characters without much (or any) pause in narration. I was often left thinking ok, wait... who are we talking about now? what just happened? I got thru it but don't recommend it.

hard time buying into the whole story

I found the details of her story a bit erratic and non sensical. while I understand her story is awash in mental health issues, so much didn't make sense - like continually returning home and maintaining her relationship with Shaun long after she had escaped it. also, some of the level of injuries she described seemed far too critical for homeopathics - and I prescribe to that form of healing. I was curious how she was paying for all her flights back and forth and her time at Harvard, as well.
overall I believe SOMETHING messed up was going on, I would like to hear more than one side of the story in this case.

I wasn't sure that this storyline would interest me but I was pulled in right away. the skill of the narrator, slipping easily between characters and many, many accents, was astounding. I truly feel this book should be heard instead of read to really become immersed in these characters.

i will definitely watch the TV series if it comes to fruition - if for no other reason than to see the beloved character, Prabaka, come to life on the screen.

the story and the narration kept me completely engaged during a solo 13-hour cross country d
rive. some of it was a tiny bit predictable and at the end I still had a couple of questions that were not answered for me. However overall I very much enjoyed the story beginning to end. Jodi Picault never disappoints

I found the characters in this book very compelling. Sebastian and all of the characters are brought vividly to Life by the narrator. I was sorry when the story ended

a MUST for any true fan of The Princess Bride.

this is a lovely, behind the scenes type telling of the making of the classic movie. it's rare to hear of such a special project and the lasting, positive effect it has on the world for those who have seen or read it.
