Thank you for this book. I had hesitated in buying the first one, but this is hands down in my top 5 of all time favourites.

Cheeky and unpredictable, but without the whiplash

Pleasantly surprised by this one. Enough crafting and skill buying to get me interested without any of the droning self reflection that made me return the last litrpg that I bought.

A great first book

I quite enjoyed getting glimpses of the future. It's nice to know what will be the end of a storyline and still be shocked how it happens, then filling in the middle with the next books. Checks most of my boxes, so I can't wait for the rest.

Oh, to be able to binge this series

Powerhouse of a book. Reminded me of a faster paced Stormlight Archive, at parts. Could not finish it fast enough, yet hated to hear the end credits. Thanks for this one.

Much better than I thought

First off, I like the narrator. He doesn't overdo it like lots of other narrators seem to feel like they have to do.
Secondly, the book was pretty good. Started strong, dipped and took its time to regain momentum, but was worth it.

This was fantastic, as always. I had a feeling I knew where it was going to end, but it still kicked me in the gut when the end credits rolled.

Another home run! Felt it right in my stomach as the end credits played. Maybe it's time to listen to the entire series from the beginning before hoping to find book 8.

Can't wait for more!

...Spoiler warning... Absolutely would have listened to twice as much, but I guess I won't get too greedy and I'll accept the third installment as it is. I did feel like the narrator took his sweet... time at...... moments..... but I'm not sure if it was really a thing or if I just got irritated because I wanted to know what happened next.
Then, of course, was the whole HP Philosopher's Stone portion. I didn't necessarily mind it, but I did get distinct HP vibes all the way through that part, thinking it must be the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, and knowing that Dumbledore wouldn't be around when Voldemort acts after influencing Harry and those around him from afar. That being said, this is shaping up to be one of my top 10 favourite series. I do enjoy how, even if we know that the three (well, four) weapons being forged are going to be OP eventually, the author is stretching it out and pacing it with character development. Hugh has a lot of potential, but he isn't necessarily an invulnerable supermage... yet.

While the rest was great, I couldn't stop laughing and singing along during the record player chapter. That was truly awesome.

This book was great, as always. Can't wait for more in this series, training montage or not.
