With Age of Myth, Age of Swords, and Age of War, fantasy master Michael J. Sullivan riveted listeners with a tale of unlikely heroes locked in a desperate battle to save mankind from extinction. Now comes the pivotal point. After years of warfare, humanity has gained the upper hand and pushed the Fhrey to the edge of their homeland, but no farther. Desperate to find a way to break the stalemate, the answer lies in the half-forgotten words of an ancient song. Not all legends are of heroes, and not all myths are invented.

Another fantastic novel in the series. Such a well written story, thank you Mr Sullivan; and thank you Tim G Reynolds, for you are truly one of the best narrators ever. Can’t wait to hear the next book.

Very much enjoy Edward W Robinson's books, and this is another winner!! Quite sure, if you have read/listened to any of his books, Rebel Stars will not disappoint. Ray Chase is a great narrator, brings each of the characters to life.

Have to admit, found Iron Gold not as enjoyable as the Red Rising Trilogy, which is excellent. The Trilogy is one of the best I've listened to, it was thoroughly enjoyable; the narration by Tim G Reynolds was outstanding. Iron Gold took me by surprise by the way the story was presented with the different narrators, not a huge fan of this type of presentation. Also, in my opinion, the main character was more out of the story than in, not to mention a total disappointment. Bottom line, for myself, just expected more. #Audible1

that the next book isn't available. I was totally plugged into the story and wanted to know more. It is another excellent book in the series written by Michael J. Sullivan, as well the narration by T.G. Reynolds who raises anything he narrates to a whole new level. The ending was such a surprise' not at all what what I thought would happen, but I guess this is what makes this series such an amazing journey. The 'Age of War' will not disappoint!

I enjoyed the story, really have nothing negative to say. It is in my opinion geared more towards a younger audience, in saying this, regardless I still found it entertaining. The bottom line is entertainment. Would I listen to a sequel- absolutely!! Nick Podel is an awesome narrator, I have listened to several books read by Podel and he does a great effort in taking on the characters in each story. Basically, any story that he takes on to narrate is a safe listen!!

Raithe, the God Killer, may have started the rebellion by killing a Fhrey, but longstanding enmities dividing the Rhune make it all but impossible to unite against the common foe. And even if the clans can join forces, how will they defeat an enemy whose magical prowess renders them indistinguishable from gods? The answer lies across the sea in a faraway land populated by a reclusive and dour race who feel nothing but disdain for both Fhrey and mankind.

It’s truly a great listen...only leaves you needing the next ‘fix’. But, seriously I have listen to pretty much all of the MJ Sullivan’s books and never once have felt disappointed. I guess in reality my only disappointment is that it doesn’t continue on forever!! The narrator, Tim Gerard Reynolds is without exception one of the best narrators I’ve listened to, he totally brings the characters
as well as story to life, not only to Sullivan’s novels but any novel he narrates
