I loved the interweaving of apocalypse and traditional Anishenaabe storytelling in this book. It was well narrated and well written.

This book dazzles with it’s narratives and great wisdom. If you love the natural world and seek a deeper understanding of indigenous ideas, don’t miss this one!

This is a fantastic series of essays on moss. Kimmerer brings her mixed Indigenous and Western perspectives to bear on a much overlooked and underestimated plant. She does a great job of narration for her own writing.

Although I generally don’t read band memoirs, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. George Stroumboulopoulos offers an outstanding reading of the book as someone who knew the band personally. For me the last four chapters which chronicle the end of The Tragically Hip’s story as a band were worth the entire read. The other part I enjoyed, as someone who does not understand the music industry very well, was the background information Michael Barclay provided around various aspects of the business. An enjoyable listen! #Audible1
