So much written about Donald Trump .. interesting to get a picture of Melania through the author’s close friendship.

I have enjoyed all the JoJo Moyes books and this was no exception. But in a world of seemingly endless sad and disturbing news (2020) I believe I will seek out books that make me smile rather than ones that make me cry.

I made the mistake of watching the mini series just days before starting the book. Although the root of the story was the same, the differences were just enough to throw things off for me. I guess I enjoyed each version independently but wouldn’t recommend watching or reading and then expecting them to be the same.

Another good story told by the brilliant Grover Gardiner. Always a fun ride with Andy Carpenter.

Not normally drawn to anything religious based, I decided to take a chance and I’m so glad I did. The story was well told, and thought provoking. I imagine a different world had women’s voices, and their stories, been heard throughout the centuries.

I’m a happily ever after gal...and this final book of the trilogy did not disappoint. Thank you JoJo Moyes for the wonderful words and Anna Acton for your lovely voice ♥️

At times a bit long and drawn out but a compelling story of hardship and struggle.

It was as good, or better, this second time around. Laughter and tears and brilliant storytelling at every level. 10* worthy.

Such a good read. You had me at Chapter One. Difficult to accept that in 2019 people are still being held in prison for crimes they didn’t commit .. and even more difficult to accept, that others continue to be wrongfully charged, especially with all the science available to prove their innocence.
