I listened to this book twice in two weeks, and I'll probably listen to it again in the not-too-distant future. It's a very informative and incredibly interesting read/listen, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Chris Voss' high-intensity FBI stories keep you on the edge of your seat, and his practical advice on how you can strenghten your own negotiating toolbox makes for this to be an incredibly fulfilling book.

Informative and great narration!

I really enjoyed this audiobook. It was incredibly informative and speaks many truths about the topic of killing in war - a topic that is considered taboo and largely hidden away from the general public. Dave Grossman weaves a compelling narrative together through the use of first-hand accounts, rigorous research into the psychology of killing among combat soldiers, and his vast knowledge of the military and military history. Additionally, Grossman's rhythm, pace, and tone made for a great listening experience, and I think he was a perfect fit for the role.

loved it!

I really enjoyed listening to Midnight in Chernobyl and finished it in about three days. The complete account of the event from first-hand witnesses and various parties involved was eye-opening and had me sucked into the story from start to finish. if you're interested in learning about the events leading up to, during, and after the Chernobyl disaster, I would highly recommend this book.
