Can't wait for the next book. I particularly appreciated the humanity of the protagonist. She made mistakes, sometimes owned up to them. The secondary characters were real and distinct.

No plot. All exposition.

Pros: great a describing fights and duels. Obviously put a lot of time and effort into world building and the magic system. Good representation of non binary characters and an asexual protagonist.

Cons : no plot. Repetitive first person angstyness. It feels like the story was squished in to have an excuse for a book. Reads like a video game. Lots of levels, grinding for xp will be returning for credit.

Terrible!

I hoped the plot would be interesting enough to make up for the insufferable gun humping and bombastic "perfection" of the main character. I was extremely happy and willing to move forward with the story when said character died. Unfortunately, he resumed living, and resumed being an insufferable dickwad. All other characters are apparently idiots who just need to either shut up and listen to the ever perfect master gunnery Sargent, be killed or be raped. The narration is barely better, with numerous mispronounciations and flat delivery. Unbearable. Didn't finish, will be returning for credit.

Meh

Reads like an over the top fan fiction. Not a bad story but too gushing particularly during the "relationship scenes". Some mispronunciations threw me out of the story.

A great listen

My favourite thing is Wil Wheaton's French accent. It amused me greatly and painted a very clear picture.

This is terrible. An overpowered Mary Sue.

This book had me laughing out loud at times, with the fawning that all the other characters did over the Awsome, perfect, handsome, piercing eyed 19 year old fighter thief assassin.... The point of view changes so rapidly that in audio format, it often seems like gibberish. Might be better on paper, but I doubt it. I'm sad I wasted a credit on this drek. The reader is good though. No complaints there.
