At least he won't be alone; joining him are three other masters of the macabre, writers who have helped shape modern horror. But what begins as a simple publicity stunt will become a fight for survival. The entity they have awakened will follow them, torment them, threatening to make them a part of the bloody legacy of Kill Creek.

The narrator does an amazing job of portraying all the characters in this one. Fantastic horror. Not over the top.

On the day she was abducted, Annie O’Sullivan, a 32-year-old Realtor, had three goals: sell a house, forget about a recent argument with her mother, and be on time for dinner with her ever-patient boyfriend. The open house is slow, but when her last visitor pulls up in a van as she’s about to leave, Annie thinks it just might be her lucky day after all.

What a performance by the narrator. Because of how the story is written after a few chapters I began to think I was listening to something that was really happening and forgetting it were a book. Must buy for fans of the genre.

The twists in this story are worth it. Most of the chapters are short, but get a lot crammed in. The narrator was fantastic and will be looking to acquire audiobooks from the author or narrator in the future.

I rated the performance for the production 5 stars because I believe the voice actors did what they were instructed to do. However in the end the story is just garbage.
I'm basing my review on all 8 episodes. Only because if I did it for each individual episode I would give it an even worse rating.
My biggest problem with the whole story is the main character is not believable at all. For example. She's investigating a girls death. That girl heard voices, she's now hearing voices but doesn't seem freaked and even though claims to be somewhat scared. She kind of just laughs it off and fears nothing and moves on with it.
You're also left thinking there is some sort of great plot twist and payoff coming, but it never happens. In the end it felt as if someone forgot the story they were writing and rushed an ending.
Overall I gave it a 3. Like I said the performances were fine with the voice actors and it wasn't bad enough to go any lower and a part of me is willing to accept it could have just been my expectations that are let down from the amazing cover art and the initial premise.

Hen and her husband, Lloyd, have settled into a quiet life in a new house outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Hen (short for Henrietta) is an illustrator and works out of a studio nearby and has found the right meds to control her bipolar disorder. Finally, she’s found some stability and peace. But when they meet the neighbors next door, that calm begins to erode as she spots a familiar object displayed on the husband’s office shelf. The sports trophy looks exactly like one that went missing from the home of a young man who was killed two years ago.
