Dean Koontz is an excellent author by the amount of books he has written. But this book was written 1986/87. I found his style has change in newer novels - great!!! I found in this novel he would drift off into preachy narrative during action scenes which lost my interest. But it was a good novel. Thank you Dean for for continuing to evolve your writing skills!!!

I definitely enjoyed this novel over the Watchers novel previously listened to. It was much more focused and the action scenes stayed together and did not drift off into thoughts which had nothing to do with the action taking place. Glad I gave Dean Koontz another chance.

I liked this book more so than the first. The others are not on audible as yet - so disappointing. Enjoyed the blind young woman story line, with the Gods so not gods, at least as far as true humanitarian qualities. Interesting read.

You were on your way home when you died.It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me.And that’s when you met me." A short story about the universe.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

This is a really great novel. I would give it 10. Will there be a movie? I hope so. Really a fun ride to read/listen to. Great narration by Rasario Dawson. She really got the main character. I would definitely read the sequel if Andy Weir writes with this character in mind. And most definitely read another of Weir’s novels. Enjoy!!!

I enjoyed the second story more than the first. They are very different from one another.
This is Sanderson’s gift. His stores and characters are different - not always writing the same way with characters. So depending on your interest and stories you enjoy you will get variety. I prefer his 2nd storyline as I find it more mysterious and adventurous.
