For over a century, humans, dwarves, gnomes, and elves have lived together in relative peace. But times have changed, the uneasy peace is over, and now the races are fighting once again. The only good elf, it seems, is a dead elf. Geralt of Rivia, the cunning assassin known as The Witcher, has been waiting for the birth of a prophesied child. This child has the power to change the world - for good, or for evil.

For witcher 3 fans I would highly recommend. The names sound a little different like dandelion but still very enjoyable.

It's a good enough story but having 2 girls fight over a guy is kind of a cliché, entertaining in its story but having absolutely no one to compete against the protagonist made it a little dry at times.

The book is entertaining enough to get me thorough it but nothing out of this world ; it is a light read.

Performance was absolutely amazing! No complains with that 6/5 stars.
Nick Podehl is one of the best readers I've heard.

Neil Gaiman has long been inspired by ancient mythology in creating the fantastical realms of his fiction. Now he turns his attention back to the source, presenting a bravura rendition of the great northern tales. In Norse Mythology, Gaiman fashions primeval stories into a novelistic arc that begins with the genesis of the legendary nine worlds; delves into the exploits of the deities, dwarves, and giants; and culminates in Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods and the rebirth of a new time and people.

Love the book full of short stories, Neil gaiman brought the old mythologies to life brilliantly. I now wish we had more stories from the old times.

Dalinar Kholin's Alethi armies won a fleeting victory at a terrible cost. The enemy Parshendi summoned the violent Everstorm, which now sweeps the world with destruction and in its passing awakens the once peaceful and subservient parshmen to the horror of their millennia-long enslavement by humans. While on a desperate flight to warn his family of the threat, Kaladin Stormblessed must come to grips with the fact that the newly kindled anger of the parshmen may be wholly justified.

Brilliant performance by Michael and Kate, loved all the voices and enjoyed they both played pattern the same way in this book. Story is as usual 5 star, can't go wrong with Brandon Sanderson.

Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the ten consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

Best fantasy novel to date. Brandon Sanderson does a brilliant job painting the landscape through words brilliantly. Can't wait for the rest of em. The readers Michael and Kate bring the book to life brilliantly.
