I can't think of any other Authors who so completely let you into their life, as Lisa Scottoline and Francesca Serritella do. How fun is it to hear that they go through and do so many of the things that the rest of us do, only they make it so funny! I love these books so much, as I have a close relationship with my mother too and that makes them so relatable. The stories are short and after finishing them you're either laughing or crying, but always feeling better for having heard them. I'm so glad that #Audible1 continues to bring us these books, as they are worth every penny. Lisa and Francesca feel like relatives you get to visit every summer! Can't wait until next summer, see you then ladies!

It's hard to believe that at almost 50 years old I had never read this book and I guess I still haven't since I listened to it on #Audible1 Audiobook. The characters are so rich and the story so defined and F. Scott Fitzgerald's writing is so poetic, the only thing to make this book better is Jake Gyllenhaal's silky voice. I love that he read this book, as I could picture him as the main character. I always wondered what it was about this book and why it was so famous and now I know. I have never experienced prose written that way. Sometimes I had to go back and hear it again because the words were just so beautifully strung together. Hard to believe it was written in 1925. Definitely worth listening to this version of this book.

I just Love Beth Harbison and this book does not disappoint. It's a little different than her other books, but the story and the character development are equal to, if not better than past books. Orlagh Cassidy is one of the best and my absolute favourite Audio Book Reader and the combination of Beth's writing and Orlagh's reading make for such an enjoyable experience, making you want to drive the long way home if listening in your car. A truly great story about dealing with the death of a loved one, with such rich character definition, it makes you feel like you are a part of their world. Thank you #Audible1 for offering such great books!
