Good overall & worth the listen - but not for me.

I thought the author was a lot of fun to listen to, and the stories were great. But if you had already listened to her TedX talk, or read her blog you've pretty much read the book.
It was a good take on everything, but nothing new.

Book was a great listen, especially on drives. There are some amazing stories and insights that can keep you interested throughout the 7 hours!

Good overall, with some issues.

The idea of this audiobook overall is fine, it hits a lot of right ideas. But for as many good ideas that it develops throughout, there are just as many awful "pointers" on how to act, what to wear, and how to be perceived. By no means is this an audiobook that teaches you that your diversity could be key to success, it's more on how to fit in to get your foot through the door.

Really good for young managers.

This audiobook has plenty of good insight for new managers, and people going through career transitions. It asks a lot of good questions, and brings up many good processes to bring into practice.

Part of me loved it, part of me disagreed.

Although, I found this audiobook both appropriate, truthful, and honest - I just wasn't 100% there with it. Part of me felt as though it hid a lot of the differences between the genders in the workplace, and told me that we had to act a certain way to make sure all women could move forward. However, there are some extremely valid points and parts to this audiobook, including the subjects of; the Howard v.s. Heidi study, the talk on impostor syndrome, and the discussion on marriage v.s. careers. #Audible1

A good reminder for everyone.

This book is good - and it's very good at reminding folks to choose which battles to fight and which ones to let go. It also helps you to realize what's important to you, and what to pursue. I found it to be a little enlightening but very entertaining. #Audible1

I love this so much, as with her first book - only this time it's a little more grown up. It's an effortless endeavour by Kaling mixed with her perfect sense of humor. Hugely recommended. #Audible1

I devoured this audiobook again and again. I love Mindy Kaling and her form of writing, it's honest, funny, entertaining and deep in some moments as well. Get a cup of coffee, and listen to this one! #Audible1

It's amazing to listen to the interviewees, and realize the enlightenment they go through. It makes you really think about your own issues, and see if you can relate. Some of the interviews are heartbreaking, others are hilarious. It's a great mix of both, highly recommended! #Audible1

Stop what you're reading and listening to, and go get this book. It'll help you get your stuff together and really believe that you can do what you want to go achieve. It is a little triggering for those living with a mental illness; however, if you're at the point in your journey where you need this kind of motivation to get through, and grow past what you need to - listen to it. #Audible1
