the narrator over infant sizes punctuation deposits are annoying the point where I had to speed it up some of the science doesn't make sense either but besides all that not too bad

Too cheesy, too messy, too confusing

Once again I am not a fan of this narrator I usually rank narrators from 1 to 10, RC Bray being number one, Scott Brick being ten. This narrator is about 6.5-7. he's not able to put enough distinction into most of the characters so that you can recognize them right away except for Agnar (which is easy) but put enough effort into it but you don't get confused who's talking halfway through conversation.

As to the story, it's obvious that everything was planned out in the characters favor and planned out poorly. to many Hail Marys and conveniences ruin the spell of the story. I also understand this is science fiction, but is leaning more towards science fantasy, I personally enjoy a story where there is some scientific accuracy and logic in the characters strategic and tactical planning. making decisions that are obviously going to fail.

As to the plot, it's pretty dumb, for anti spoiler sake I'll narrow it down to one point. EVERYTHING ABOUT SAINT COLLINS MAKES NO DAMN SENSE. A crippled soldier that died doing her Duty as a soldier is revered as a deity, in the distant future. It is probably explain why somewhere, in one of the books but I still can't wrap my head around it like. I said it makes no damn sense.

So in conclusion. The characters are cheesy the plot is messy and confusing, this could be contributed to the narrator but I honestly think it's both the narrator and the writer.

as always RC Bray kills it

I love this series and it's mainly because of the performance of RC Bray makes the characters as always seem real. and the entire Series has a tiny bit of Comedy thrillz Touch of Romance and a hell of a lot of action definitely gets all five from me

I didn't even get through the first 5 chapters I would imagine the story is pretty good and it sounded pretty good but the narrator in general was terrible

I absolutely love this series
Its funny, sciency and even a bit of romance. As always my favorite narrator RC Bray brings all the characters to life perfectly all the emotions the environments and the description just all of it. I'm truly excited for the next book in the series. Although you definitely need to read the previous books for this one to make any sense

author doesn't know anything about Canadian laws

I love it because there is certain parts in it that makes you feel like you're listening to interpretation of the game Civ also there's a couple moments in it due to the narrator's seriousness just to make you laugh
