I didn't even get through the first 5 chapters I would imagine the story is pretty good and it sounded pretty good but the narrator in general was terrible

I absolutely love this series
Its funny, sciency and even a bit of romance. As always my favorite narrator RC Bray brings all the characters to life perfectly all the emotions the environments and the description just all of it. I'm truly excited for the next book in the series. Although you definitely need to read the previous books for this one to make any sense

Living on the outskirts of a city and scavenging for whatever supplies remain after civilization died two years ago, Gus knows that every time he goes down into undead suburbia could be his last.

these books are so predictable and the author seems to forget about half of the things that he's already said. and when I say predictable I mean very predictable, I understand it's supposed to be a thriller, action even horror, but most of, if not everything, is boring, eye rolling and unnecessary.

but like in every other book that he does R.C Bray does a great job regardless of the story and the mispronunciations

The Earth lies shaken in the aftermath of a conspiracy. Some of the smartest minds on the planet have striven for and died in an effort to scour the skies of four vast alien satellites, but their success has brought a terrible vengeance down upon us. While alien agents stalk the Earth, a team of exhausted scientists and military outcasts struggle to fight them among a planet on the brink - the brink of plague, the brink of war, and the brink of an invasion larger than they can possibly imagine. But they have allies.

I love it because there is certain parts in it that makes you feel like you're listening to interpretation of the game Civ also there's a couple moments in it due to the narrator's seriousness just to make you laugh
