Baptism of fire is a book about self discovery and not judging others based on appearance or reputation. It teaches us that we can create a name for ourselves without others influencing our choices. I give this book a 3/5

Inquisitor Glokta was the most interesting character in the story. Witty, fun banter and overall rude. I enjoyed every moment of him. If the book was solely based on his personality this novel would have been a great improvement

Great book by Peter McLean. I enjoyed it better than the first. Peter knows how to develop his characters and stay true to their nature. Voice narrator John Lee performs beautifully with the tone of a Preist. I can't wait for the next book

Scott Lynch knows how to tell a great story. The premise was simple and knew how to play with your heart strings. Locke Lamora is the best villian to make you smile and doubt that good is any different from bad. Evil is appealing to listen and dream to with a voice like Michael Page. Keep stealing Locke Lamora

FitzChivalry is the best royal servant a King can have. Writer Robin Hobb shapes the world of politics and magic, engrossing you in emotions. I was pleased how well the story progressed

Scott Lynch did it again. He has you deep in his voyage of trust, love and connection. I had a hard time putting this book down. I fell in love with the original characters and was surprised to see that I felt the same way with the new characters

Gardens of the Moon is not a book that I would recommend. I've read reviews stating that this book was an amazing fantasy novel I have to disagree. The plot was not strong and there was no clear direction of which character you needed to focus on because every character felt like an uninteresting sub plot

The Lies of Locke Lamora brings one plot to another plot and on to another without feeling lost. Scott Lynch knows how to write a great story

This book will want you to chase the stars and grab hold to your dreams. Brandon Sanderson delivers an adventure that tells the tale of a girl becoming a hero just like the stories told to her as a child

The Assassin's Apprentice was a great story. Writer Robin Hobb knew how to keep you engaged from beginning to end. Each plot was not short or long, it had a good pace. I'm excited to listen to his next story. Paul Boehmer's performance was excellent
