Every leader must be ready and willing to take charge, to make hard, crucial calls for the good of the team and the mission. Something much more difficult to understand is that in order to be a good leader, one must also be a good follower. This is a dichotomy - a Dichotomy of Leadership. It is, as authors Jocko Willink and Leif Babin explained in their best-selling first audiobook, Extreme Ownership, “Simple, Not Easy”.

I have read many books on leadership and self-improvement. Some were worthless, many held some important information. Others were even really good but, if ever leadership was summarized into a concise, real world example, this book is it.

Canada is awesome. However, paying high taxes guarantees nothing. Canadians pay about 50% on average of their income to taxes. For most Canadians, taxes are higher than cost of housing and food combined. In the end, we are $1.6 trillion in government debt plus, our own personal debt on top of that. Add to that the everyday cost of living. This book was a bunch of Liberal Ideology put together to justify high taxes.

This book is not for Liberal Snowflakes. This book is for people who genuinely want to take responsibility for themselves and their lives. If you believe in weakness and making excuses, you will be offended by this book. If you are offended by personal responsibility, you may want to retreat to your safe-space in your mother's basement and read a book on ANTIFA.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has to deal with High Conflict People in their life. I managed Unions for over 14 years and have had to deal with many High Conflict situations from negotiations to disciplinary meetings - up to and including dismissal. I have taken many courses on Conflict Management including - Dealing with Anger, Reframing, Mediation 1 & 2 among others. I found the descriptions of personalities of HCPs and their habits very accurate to my experience. I even learned about some habits from this book, whereupon reflection didn't realize at the time, what I was about to be dealing with. I have been slandered, threatened (including my life), had my reputation attacked and near the end of 14 years, was being ground down to fine powder emotionally. Which is why I was surprised at some of the recommendations in this book. The author on occasion recommends that you address HCPs and their negative supporters from time to time. I will agree that there are times you have no choice. However, I would recommend that you don't interact with them at all if possible. The only truly effective way to deal with these people is to completely cut them out of your life as soon as possible. Regardless of how I feel about the advice, you should give this book a listen. I have even added the W.E.B. - Words, Emotions and Behavior Assessment and the 40 characteristics of HCPs to my day planner for reference in the event I need it in the future.

There is a global economic crisis going on. The federal reserve and the central banks of the world are printing more and more money, and the United States government keeps spending more and more money. This debases the currency, and your purchasing power is being diminished because there is too much money in circulation chasing too few goods. The end result of this madness? Inflation and rising prices.

If people of all walks of life took the opportunity to read or listen to this book - debates surrounding public policy and economy could much more effectively address problems. Political Correctness has been the ideology to follow and has led to the problems being unresolved for decades. If Political Correctness continues to be followed, those problems will drag on for decades yet.

While I had some basic understanding of Blockchain, and this is an introductory book, it did explain some things that I had no idea about. If you are new to cryptocurrency then, I think you will enjoy this book.
