This series just continues to be a joy to listen to.

The only first world problem I have with it is how the narrator pronounces live/lived lol.

Grabbed this book when it came up as a daily deal, I don’t normally go for the detective type genre but for the deal I figured I’d give it a go.

WOW

I throughly enjoyed this first outing, the story is top notch. It’s got just the right amount of world building without it being a major focal point.

The narrator does a very good job as well, emphasizing all the right moods. When the character is tired you can feel that.

Narrator does attempt to do voices even though the range is limited. All the men sound the same regardless of age and there’s 2 for the women excluding the main character. But that’s a relatively small issue, and not one to cause the experience to diminish.

I recommend this to anyone, sit down, have a listen and enjoy yourself.

I had always heard that the source material for the Jurassic Park movie was amazing, and I’m glad that after all these years I finally checked it out.

The story itself is VERY well done, and Scott Brick does a fantastic job narrating it. I look forward to listening to follow up novel when I get the chance.

Thoroughly Enjoyed

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this, looking forward to the rest of the series.

Narrator does a very nice job.

Only minor issue is that it doesn’t always wait for a chapter break to move from character to character. For a bit you’re with Geralt the next your with a group of rulers miles away.
