I really enjoyed this book, along with other Peter Grainger works. The writing is literate with much humour, which makes the reading/listening flow effortlessly. Character development is top notch.

Gildart Jackson does an excellent job narrating.

A really enjoyable story!

This was my first book by Peter Grainger, and what a discovery it was. The story is well paced and the characters are wonderfully drawn. I really enjoyed the splashes of humour throughout and the literate writing style. On to the next book in the Kings Lake series and the other two series, DC Smith and Willows and Lane.

The narration by Gildart Jackson is fabulous!

There is little that one can say about this Classic that has not already been said. In this particular version, the narrator is the star in mho. Terrific adaptation overall.

A really funny collection of essays. One can identify with most of the stories for they are human stories.
I will definitely read/listen to more of McManus’s books.

Great narration by Norman Dietz.

I enjoy very much the Cherringham and Mydworth Mystery Series. They are short, fun to listen to and a nice respite between longer mysteries or more serious books. Keep them coming, I say.

Neil Dudgeon does a superb narration.

Top journalism. I learned a lot!

This is a wonderful and thought provoking series. Some content is not new if one follows the news. The crime side of things, although not surprising confirmed human nature at its greediest. Very well done and recommendable.

Another fun listen/read from Jana DeLeon. This was the antidote I needed while pausing my listening of A Distant Mirror. It is pure escapist fun and I really enjoyed it.

Cassandra Campbell's narration is excellent.

Inspector Morse books are a favourite of mine. I have always enjoyed them in print, TV adaptations and now on audio. Colin Dexter was a literate writer, and with this, the third in series, he does it again. Very entertaining story.

The narration by Samuel West is excellent.

This is a book that deserves the reviews it gets. It is a study of class division and personal growth and pain. Highly recommended.

The narration by Maggie Gyllenhaal is excellent.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It is a fun way to discover a component of Canada that does not get the coverage or the respect it deserves. I hope that there will be more episodes as there is so much to explore in our country.
