The reader has a voice that is clear and engaging. Unfortunately this was accompanied by new age music that was very distracting.

Also, this is NOT Flower Derby's book by the same name that is much talked about in teaching circles...this book doesnt have the same structure. This is just a list of "how to", such have access to good wifi and a be respectful to students in a communication... It doesn't use stories or the scholarly research as Flower Derby's book does...

this science fiction story is in the realm of the plausible future for humans as we travel and settle beyond earth's "gravity well." the characters are well developed and interesting. the performance is fantastic and the reader gives each character different accents and ways if speaking that make them distinct. in this book series, some.of the chapters are written from a character' point of view. in this book, there characters are holden (captain the ship and arguably the hero of the story), Sargent bobbi Draper the martian marine, and avasarala, the shrewd UN politician with a vulgar tongue.

the author is quite good, blending personal anecdotes, scientific research, cultural and philosophical reflections. it reminds me of Michael pollan's work on food and plants. but here, the author explores the science of everyday life. following a 24 hr day, it follows the decisions we make such as whether we should floss, whether to drink coffee, whether to vent to colleagues (or anyone). it focuses on canadian studies as much as possible. the narrator is quite engaging and adds to the experience of enjoying this book.

first, will wheaton is one of the best narrator of books out there. he brings to life any narrative. this audiobook is no exception.
the story of Ready Player Two picks up right where the first book left off. this time, the book explores themes of love, immortality, AI, identity and ethics. as is typical of cline's books, it's also a joyous nostalgic trip through 80s pop culture, this time focusing on the john Hughes movies, lord of the ring, and Prince.
I am impressed that the author was able to replicate the novelty and innovation of the first book and move t plot along.
it's a wonderful book, read by a talented actor.

this was an excellent "read." the author's style reminds me of Michael Pollan, who mixes the personal experience, with scientific studies, with the philosophical about the implications for our society and ourselves.
this exploration of our obsession with celebrities begins and at an American Idol competition. in between, the author explores science myths, the power of celebrities in influencing our choices, and the goal to be famous that has taken over the american dream. what in love also is that the author has gone out of his way to include ans highlight canadian studies and scientists.

I liked this book. The author is personable and relates big messages through personal anecdotes and storytelling. I also very much appreciated the Canadian content. The research selected for discussion and the experts interviewed are mostly Canadian, which is a rarity in a popular science book.

as per his typical work, pollan delivers a strong performance and a thought provoking story about the history of coffee and its influence in civilizations. this is interspersed with personal experiences and reflections which give a behind the scenes peek and a feeling that pollan is an old friend ruminating over this topic at the table after dinner

beautifully told. this is a coming of age story for a woman who struggled to emancipate her mind from the shackles of her upbringing. her strength, struggle, intelligence, and empathy shine through. there is a universality of it, which is acute and more pronounced in her experience, but which could be the story of any person 's attempt to become themselves.
