Extraordinary piece of Caribbean History
As a Carribean person, this book really resonated with me. I struggle to find works that reflect local histories of our islands. This is an amazing book with phenomenal narration. Loved!

Charming - and refreshingly direct
What a charming little book!
So gently told, yet with sarcasm that cuts deep. Makes one appreciate the struggle of a former British colonial land, shaking free of oppression and slavery, only to exist under a corrupt government catering to rich tourists. A great listen.
